    X3 on what Jason said. The south end had the only nice bait that we marked, wish I had stuck with that area. Also there is a chance for some beautiful walleye! The winner of that tournament had a five fish total of over 36 lbs... three Lakers, a Brown and an 8 lb bow, wow!! Stop into hills n valleys (Elmira) and grab a few stinger sized spoons, and anything finger lakes tackle.. Like sk8man said run some shallow and fast, even if you are over deeper water.     Congratulations Mike! The one thing that produces fish is being workhorses. You and your crew are freaking Clydesdales!!! We did the same working those big arcs, lockjaw!! Fished with a buddy and his 14 yr old, first timers.. they were great to fish with and ground it out with rain, wind and some slow fishing. Ended up 15 for 17 Mostly thin 15-18" Lakers, also one nice small mouth. Great seeing everyone and a pleasure meeting you Les! Hope to see you all next weekend at B & B tourney!     We have fished Canadaguia only a few times, each time it had been like you described. Do you think it was the cold front shutting things down or is it as simple as the fish were in between feeding times? I am of the theory that fish have their big "dinner" at first light ( may be full moon) then from there they eat till full and six hours later time for lunch, then a light dinner before night.     Congratulations again on a great box of fish Mike! Russ's limit was beyond impressive! 36lbs is world class!! Then he pulled out that huge walleye! Owasco blew away my expectations again, we boated over a dozen Lakers and dropped a few that I am sure pushed 8 plus. Also dropped an aerial bow that would of added to our box nicely. My wife really loved the Lake and the fishing. Calm morning beautiful sunrise kick myself for not getting pics but did not get two rods set before having our first fish on. Thanks again Jason for the lures and info! The glow 'klinker' took a few shots! Great group of gentlemen to fish with! thanks all... see you at Keuka.     Sounds like the same part I needed, ended up fixing it by welding the two parts together, metals were different the cog was kinda pot metal and shaft was stainless , ran a bead over both and ground it flat..still working.. good luck with it.     Man Les those flys look great! Four beads, great eyes. Ever use in line rattles? My hot fly this year has a green hook with a rattle.     Caught them mostly in 30-60 down in 560 fow to 150 fow. Caramel dolphin in scorpion size and orange/silver , fished faster 2.7 to 3.0, some came on copper down chute some on cheaters.. slow bite for Seneca on Monday. Find bait... as always. Lol.
