Hey guys, Our season just opened for trout here in zone 20 in Ontario and i managed to get into a few good pods of kelts making their way back to the lake. I fished mostly green wooly buggers and played with some smaller tubes and a prawn variant i tied on a size 2 iron. I was having a tough go sticking fish on my smaller tube so i switched up to the bigger iron and immediately stuck the first fish that grabbed. turns out it was my PB GL bow on the swing too! i called it after that but heres a bunch of good grabs on camera for your viewing pleasure. good luck on the rivers this weekend! Hey guys, As we inch closer to salmon season I took some time to capture some neat footage of steelhead on some local tributaries as they migrate and prepare their Redds for their spring spawn. This segment was shot on 2 separate days separated by about 2 weeks where they went from heavily migrating to nestling into their spawning stretches 40kms up river. This was my first time capturing steelhead like this. I think I'm going to make a habit of doing this yearly! Might even try the salmon run too in the fall! We were fishing with swimbaits this day. Victor and Lyle played around with a few different variations but sam and I just stuck with the swammers and did well like that!

Hey guys, Ive been on an editing tear lately as i try to pump out as much content from this past fall as i can. This clip was shot over the past couple months as i chased steelhead here on the great lakes. I put a bunch of time in this fall and was able to shake hands with a few great fall run fish on the swing. It been a while since i had the time to actually chase the fall run so that was great to be able to do! Am I the only one that looses that many fish or?? Thanks for watching, Dan

Thats the go to we also put a single over hand above aswell and 1 inch of surgical tubing with a bead on top to minimize shock when we reel up all the way to the rod tip

Hey Frogger Luhr jensen is our dipsy of choice and this time of year when the kings are still higher up we run regular sized dispeys which i believe is size #1. we run exclusively wire lines this time of year and braid in the spring and fall. make sure you are using the right knot if your running wire. the wrong knot and send you into a never ending cycle of break offs hope this helps!
