Hey guys,
This project has been ongoing for 3 years and the amount of effort gone into these studies has been under appreciated due to lack of knowledge of its existance.
The goal with this video is to get this fish telemetry project exposed to as many salmon fisherman as possible so the return rate on tags is better.
This means more information on migration patterns can be gained on our beloved great lakes kings and other pacific species.
The GLIER team will follow this post so any questions or inquiries can be left here and will aswered by them!
Your support on this project is appreciated!

me and a buddy bought an old 77 Chrysler 55 and so far we have had to replace the shift rod and forward gear but once we get our forward gear back in and oiled up we should be ready but im still a bit afraid to go out for the chinnys on this old thing. weve already made sure she floats but if the motor decides to conk out on us it could get ugly.
so with that being said, i was wondering if there are any salmon trollers in the port credit to bronte area that would dedicate a day to bringing there boat out with us and just either leading or following us just in case anything happens. this is also my first boat and were only 18 so were still fresh to boating and the trolling scene so bare with us if you do decide to help us out for a day.
thats the boat
thanks again guys
