Got a pretty good deal on some stuff over the winter and figured I would try to pass some savings along. Blue metallic Dipsy Diver size 0 with ring 3 1/4" (depth chart below.) These dive to a max 40' which are sweet for late kings and early inside fishing. Have a total of 17 of these. I searched around everywhere and couldn't find them for less than 13 bucks a piece. Ill take $9 a piece or 4 for $30. Black Slide Diver Light Bites- 3 3/4" with the light bight attachments. Another sick tool for inside fishing. Can't find em for less than 20 a piece online. $15 ea. or both for $25. Luhr Jensen Shoehorns- I have had very good success with these spoons the past 3 years I have run them. They have an odd action due to the shape that takes some BIG fish. They are all 4" These can't be found online for less than like $5 a spoon. They are also Discontinued as I can't find them on Luhr's website anymore. $3 a piece. Call or text me with any inquiries- that will be the fastest way to get a response back! Thanks Nick 585 746 8307

Inside bite is gonna be tough if you're targeting kings. We went out and took 3 major bites only landing one 25# king. browns were cooperating early but nothing too big. Took 7 fish today and lost 2 screamers inside of 80'. fish bait inside and don't forget what time of year it is! *Cough* j plugs *cough* Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app -
After having to fish inside yesterday due to the strong winds we came out at 6am to a laid down lady O and hit the blue water. Set up in 300' outside of the mouth and deployed our 500 copper along with 4 riggers and a wire. It wasn't too long until we started picking up small kings and steelhead. Around 9 we took a spin west and our 300' wire went ripping with a uv green sparkle spinny w a NBK fly. 15 min later and 4 long runs we landed a 24.5 lb king. That would be our only major of the day as we went 7-7 with mostly a small class of kings. We worked back inside to try to get out of the snotty waters but that didn't do us any good. A lot of bait and some fish hugging bottom but no takers. warm water is still deep and probably will be for the next week on the inside. Back at it in the am to see what we can do in the LOC/OCD! Fuse is in the side cover. Try bypassing the switch and the fuse. If the motor runs you know it's an issue with the switch or fuse. If not your motor is crap. Take the side cover off and jump the bigger black and red wires directly to 12v Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Breast Cancer Salmon Tourny for Donna

Tim, pick a date and I'm sure you could do the weigh in at sleepy hollow, sandy creek marina, east fork, or Hamlin beach. I'd try for middle sept and hit all of the tackle shops/ small businesses around the area for gift certificates. I know the verizon store in brockport loves giving big ticket items Away. You can do 50/50 Raffles to come up with some extra dough but I'm sure you can get an easy 15-20 boats out that day to play. Everyone loves a chance to win some money and more importantly help out our fellow fisherman. I'd do a 75/25 split on the payouts and I'm sure you can make the difference up with raffles and prizes. Get to work and let me know if you need anything bro! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app -

Nick R's RIGGED at SCS

After being at the oak most of the summer we finally made out home at sandy on Friday. Took out my parents and Dave B for some LOC/ big fish Friday pre fishing. The past few weeks at the oak the king bite was deeper so I made the decision to stay in close first thing and put some browns on the deck before we went searching. It wasn't long before the orange crush started taking numerous shots from hungry browns. We worked the east waters til about 830 when we turned back and pointed NW towards the nose to see what kind of king action was around. As soon as we started that troll we hooked up with a 12.5lb brown off that orange crush that had been hot all day. We thought we had a loc fish to weigh in so we were pretty pumped. Not two seconds after we got the hook out of brown number 1's mouth the port rigger fires and starts screaming on another orange crush- 12.5 lb brown on the end of that one too! We then worked out to 130 before we took our first king that was around 13lbs. Worked from 130-180 all day as the screen and kings were active and hungry. At about noon I broke out the Jamaican shoe horn as an inside joke and slammed it down 65 on our probe rigger. Not 10 min later did it fire. I tightened up on the fish and as soon as I did it took us out 450'. We knew we had a major and were excited as the reports we heard all day weren't too good. We ended up putting a 21.95lb king good enough for 3rd place in BFF. We had a little more time to play before weigh in so we dialed in our laker program for a backup plan for sat. We ended up 15-15 on the day with what would have been a 3rd place box had it come a day later. Saturday we started off towards cow sucker as that is where we took some good kings the day before. We worked the inside 70-100' of water for the first two hours and only had an 11# laker to show for it. We kept heading east past lighthouse point working 100-200' with no takers (besides 14 inchers) At around 930 the warm water rolled in and we had to re-think our game plan. We had thought that a 4 king box was was going to be the difference so we headed deep to more stable water. Unfortunately the only fish that wanted to cooperate were the steelhead. We ended up not weighing in as a small box of steel and one laker wasn't going to do it. Hindsight was 20/20 we should have hammered the lakers while we had the chance but the temptation of finding kings was the ONLY thing on our minds . It sucks it feels like the season is only starting and it's already august. Oh well we have two Derbys and one more king of the oak before we start looking for the mud sharks! Hope we can turn our luck around and QUICK! Congrats to the winners! Matt- great job finding the kings and taking Jay off the 1st place spot after 4 years! Depends how big the fish is lol.. Yea I have more fun seeing rods pop and the smiles on friends faces when they put their first slob on the deck than reeling in myself. If I'm out with people that know what they're doing it's game on first to the rod reels it in lol. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

A little late and this is going to be a very boring story but why not. Took a week of vacation to fish the WHI and pre tourney events so we headed out Friday to see what the west end was all about. After looking at Erie all winter I was a little bummed to know that ice water was flowing out of the Niagara. We stared off the weekend in the skinny water in front of port where water was a chilling 42* and did very well on coho and browns. After Beating on them each morning we went searching on the inside and outside of the Erie water which was 34.1* holy friggin ****. Did a bunch of lakers out deep thru the weekend. During the week the west winds kicked up and pushed the ice water around. We were constantly finding low 40's through the column from the bar to the powerplant. Couldn't find a damn salmon to save my life. To think- I left Rochester to fish this water lol. Thursday we had a huge break in the morning where my screen lit up- hooks and bait everywhere (3miles east of wilson). I started to get optimistic an tried to stay on them but could only manage two passes as the only guy on board that day had to be in at 11.we managed a small king before I had to call it. Pre fishing Friday was a bust on kings as we kept searching without burning too much gas but we did manage a few nice coho at the plant and out deep. Our plan for Sat was to skip out on kings but rather try to put 6 coho in the box. We started just west of the power plant and managed a few nice browns before we moved into the deep water. We picked up a 21" coho I. 150 fow and worked that for most of the day as that's where we found the bigger ones on Friday. After a few hours of sitting on our thumbs we moved to our "king" waypoints to hopefully pick up a couple of fish but it never panned out. We ended up skipping weigh in as we knew 1 coho wouldn't do much. Very tough week out that way but it was great to fish every day for 9 days! Oh well! Better luck next year and congrats to the winners! See you all at the oak orchard open!! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I put a 12 oz water bottle outside last night as an experiment and when I woke up this Morning not even a chunk of ice was in it. Not sure if that would really explain anything but it at least made me feel safer lol Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
