Went with the high back for the helm and later added the lowback w/no arm rests for our Striper. The highback seat padding on the front of the seat is a bit much for my comfort. It also takes some manuevering to turn the seat facing backwards. If I did it again I’d go with the lowback no arm rests for the helm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We had to find another dock this year in Lorain OH. Beaver Creek was too high for the three bridges we had to cross. Last year we left for an evening troll, came back in and couldnt make it under a bridge. It’s now doublimg the dockage for us. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
According to folks on the Striper Owners Club site, Seadek sends you mylar and you cut out the pattern and send it back to them. You install it. Great colors to chose from. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Paid for a dock we can’t use. We are trailering due to excess water in Lake Erie (Lorain OH) and bridge clearances. We fished one evening and when we came back in we couldn’t fit under a bridge. We gained 3-4” of height compared to when we left earlier in the evening. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Have a Striper 26’ 300hp. Had two 36” Amish bags and were too much. Dropped down to 28” bags and are perfect for 1.5mph per gps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Besthunts.net. I had a down payment with them but I had to back out. Two guys got smaller moose the last day of the hunt. They were fog/rained in for most of the trip. Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You weren't the only one who had a tough trip. Saturday saved the trip for us. We were from the 26 line outta Wilson to the 32 line in front of the power plant. After a tip from Our buddy the 31/46 line paid off. Biggest king was 19 pounds, and plenty of just over legal kings. Wednesday eve three for five Thursday 5/9 Friday only two keeper steelies and Saturday limited out. Still had a blast with my dad and two brothers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Great job folks. Heading there now from Amherst (Wed) for the rest of the week. Hoping for the same fishing. Junebug, 26' Striper if ya see us give a shout. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We usually rent a dock while there (Wilson Park). Any changes there? Docks were stationary and Seemed to be high in years past. Are they under water?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Dad had Simrad ap24 installed last year. Great addition. Found that while trolling with bags, u have to run bags on each side. With only one bag deployed, the pull is too much for the ap to try and compensate to keep course true. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Closer Hewescraft is now in Sheffield Lake, Oh. He also sells Warrior boats which offer tillers too. Erie Marine Sales LLC. On FB too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
