There’s one on Facebook In fultonville, ny believe it’s a 1986. Posted on the Lake Ontario fishing classified page. Nice looking setup Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
I had the same issue. Messages all got erased, had to go to main page on the app and select notifications to view any new messages. Also won’t let me use the reply bar on the forum pages. Missed out on a great deal on the classifieds because of the confusion. Rich is my uncle so I’ll let him know this morning that a few of you are looking for weights. Double-D I’ve been having the same issues. My app updated and now I have to hit the notifications tab on the bottom of the screen to see my messages. Lost out on a good deal the other day because of it. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Nice stuff, Rick. Glad to see you letting some locals have the first chance at what your selling. Rather than someone selling your items on eBay for double the price. Really helps out people who are just starting out or can’t afford all new. Happy fishing! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
What’s everyone using for their 500 copper setups? I have a few Okuma coldwater 55 reels that from my understanding I can get 500’ of 45# copper but only about 100’ of backer. Don’t feel like that’s enough for Lake Ontario salmon but I saw a 500’ copper on a convector 55 at fat Nancy’s the other day. What reel and how much and what size backer are you running for kings? Back to a few comments ago about running the kicker off the main tank. Would it be any better with a selector valve that you can turn when you turn off your main engine to then run the kicker with an inline pump ball primer? So during the run out to your spot the big motor would not be sucking fuel from The kicker line. Just curious as my new boat the previous owner replaced a few fuel pumps in the kicker and they both run off the main tank. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Been shopping around trying to find the shimano tdr 8’ 6” medium action rods. Managed to find one at sportsman’s warehouse in elmira. Would like to get at least five more. If anyone knows a good place to find them in stock or has some available that would be great! Thanks! -Brad Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Hope you have a pedal kayak. Be afraid leaders would tangle to main line when setting the rig if you weren’t in motion Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Got a garmin striker 4 for my kayak to try to perch fish here on the finger lakes, wondered if anybody had any homemade transducer mounts that work for them. I see some on Amazon made for the application but some reviews say they are flimsy. Any input appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
The 13 snitch rod is a great rod for panfish but I wouldn’t overlook the ht rods. I have a couple fiblink rods off Amazon that I absolutely love. Their inline reels are incredible as well. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Any specific amount of time in the toaster oven? They’ve been painted for about 10 days and my clear should be here Thursday as well as a bunch more blanks. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Hey guys, I’m new to painting my own spoons and just got a cheap airbrush setup and a few colors and ordered a couple dozen blanks to practice. So far I’ve painted some that I’m pretty happy with. I’m using createx water based paint and from the research I’ve done I ordered the KBS Diamond clear. My plan is to use a wire hook to dip the spoons and let them hang to cure. Does anyone have any advice for the clear process that’s made their projects a little simpler? Below are some I’ve practiced with so far. Any advice for a newbie at this is appreciated. Patiently waiting for the lakes to freeze. Happy fishing to those still grinding out there with this nice November weather. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
