One mistake out there in a kayak and only ONE, you will be a broke, DEAD college kid. don't do it!!!!!

there should be a couple of set screws that hold the bearing in place. go on u-tube and watch the videos. they go through the procedure step by step.

I put 200# PP on my Magnum Metalz three years ago. No problems. Just to make sure, i put on 500ft on all three riggers and when out in the lake in deep water, I ran the line out all the way with a three pound weight and reeled it back in. twice a year i cut off 5ft and retie. The PP will collect fleas, but the hose takes care of them, other than that, no problems, smooth and QUIET!!

USE SNUBBERS WITH THOSE CANNONS!!!!!!

the mag 10st has the same circuit board as the 5st. I have 5st's and have been on boats with 10st's and they work the same way.

get in touch with YANKEE TROLLER, he works at KRENZER MARINE. they sell CANNON, he might have an answer for you.

those riggers have a speed of 250fpm and don't have any slow down before stopping in either direction. i recommend using Omish Outfitters downrigger snubbers, it cushions the stop shock. the Planer Board Snubbers work great also. hope this helps.
