  1. I pick up the new boat Thursday - so this one has to go. Great all around fishing boat! Trailers really well - just pulled it out to Sodus for the Pro - Am this past weekend from North Tonawanda with no issues. New winch and 4 brand new trailer tires. Boat has been well maintained and is powered w/ an I/O 4cylinder 170 horse mercruiser. This has been gone through thoroughly - plugs, cap, points, gas line, all bellows replaced earlier this year. Pushes the boat WOT 32-33 MPH and also trolls well off the main engine. Fuel economy on this boat is great. It's also equipped with a marine radio, trim tabs, bimini top with side and back curtains, cover and a few other odds and ends. This boat is ready for fishing! $4,750 obo Any questions call Kyle 716-345-5942
  2. Great looking fish! Looks beautiful out there today. Wish we could have had that weather for the pro am!
  3. and todays 2-4s into 6-10s! The curse is strong in this port! Anyone want in on some "I survived the Sodus ProAm" tshirts? I'm thinking of putting 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013 all crossed out below it with a picture of the boat from "The Perfect Storm" driving up that monster wave. Congrats to anyone who braved the weather and lived to tell about it! The coastguard said they had 12 calls Saturday one of which had the C130 out searching as most of us saw. Today I heard at least two boats report mayday... it was NASTY out there. Look forward to doing it again next year, but I'm taking Stoutner's boat! Nick I'd be interested in one of those! Could I get three - one with puke and another with rally on the back for my crew? They only made it about an hour before donating breakfast!
  4. I did well out of Wilson on the 4th. Head a few miles west 120-140 flow. Silver pro troll with green atomik fly worked well. Good luck!
  5. Left the docks a little before 6am and headed a few miles west before dropping lines. Surface temp was pretty good ranging from 64-67 degrees in 120-140 fow. Picked up a decent steelhead while setting up on the dipsy 2.5 setting silver flasher with a green fly. Action was constant throughout the day with flasher fly taking all but 1 fish. Dipsy's were hot running 140 at a 2.5 to 3 setting. Copper was pretty quiet today but I only ran the 200 since the fish seemed to be high. Riggers took a few fish anywhere from 45-65 feet. We ended up with 1 steelie and 9 kings - 4 skippers a 10lb, 2 - 15's, 22lb and a 24lb. Dropped one screamer on the dipsy and a small one on the copper. Unfortunately I can't make it out until next Friday for the Lotsa derby. It was great to get a good day of fishing on the books!
  6. Nick - you ever have any issues clamping the copper directly to the release for the planer. I'm a little hesitant to clip mine directly to the clamp. BTW great video!
  7. I ordered a couple of 24" tracks by mistake instead of the 36's. Rather than ship back anyone in need of 2 - 24" tracks?
  8. Great name! I read the post of the rebuild and its a great story! Nice work
  9. Will do! Really looking forward to this event!
  10. I haven't done any looking yet but are there any good places to stay for a reasonable price close to the dock? I secured a slip for two days and really don't have enough room on the boat. I could make it work if I have to. Thanks!
  11. Thanks for the info - I have been looking at these for a while now and this might help me pull the trigger!
  12. I picked up the 7 earlier this year and have had pretty good luck so far. I'm keeping my fingers crossed I don't run into any problems.
  13. I have the bottom of a 9.6 heartland. Give me a buzz 7163455942
  14. Was out that way yesterday and lots of cold water and not a lot of fish. I had surface temps 46-48 degrees with 41 at the ball 50 ft down. Moved out deep looking for warmer water and caught one small one in 300 fow down 110 on a spoon. Hopefully you'll have better luck than I did.
  15. Thinking of making the drive to Dunkirk and give it a shot. Never fished for eyes out of Erie. Any tips on depths or tips in general? Planning to run plugs on riggers, 150 copper with church boards and dipsys. I appreciate any help! Thanks!
  16. Finally got the motor mounted! Had to get a different bracket than what I had - but so far it works perfect!
  17. Congrats!
  18. I would spend 35 on an okuma dipsey rod and go with wire - I like 7 strand Malin 40-45 bucks. Lots of good reels out there to set it up with. I like tekotas or 47 lc daiwas. Wire in my opinion is the best setups for running dipseys.
  19. Looking for a used scotty rigger to match the pair I have on the boat. Let me know what you have and how much. thanks, Kyle 716-345-5942
  20. That's a great day! Congrats! I went turkey hunting and didn't get anything. Should have gone fishing!
  21. Sold pending payment
