Been neglecting the bow of your boat and ready to make a total performance overhaul? For sale is a gently used 24V Minnkota Terrova i-Pilot wireless GPS trolling system, 80lb-ft Thrust, 60" Long Shaft, including everything you need to make it go vrooom and extra functional upgrades for the bow and power system of your boat! Some of the awesome features of this unit includes GPS heading auto-pilot, spot-lock, record and follow tracks, cruise control down to 0.1MPH increments, and more... all controlled with a wireless handheld remote with illuminated LCD screen! This trolling motor is capable of pulling my loaded Tracker V175 WT with a 9+ rod spread running Amish big boards with ease! If it doesn't catch you fish, it'll attract the ladies! What's included in this package: * The trolling motor described above (saweeeet!!) - $1500 * i-Pilot handheld remote control (just put a brand new battery in it for you) * MinnKota foot pedal control unit with extended cable (never used) * Add-on US2 Depth Finder cable for Lowrance Elite Series (powers and provides sonar data to the included Elite-5 Combo) - $25 Read more about this unit here: http://www.minnkotamotors.com/i-Pilot/ * Qty 2 Group 27 Interstate deep cycle batteries (2 light seasons on these; always maintained properly; stored during winter in heated garage on the tender) - $250 * Minnkota 315D digital control on-board 3-bank battery charger (Bank 1 has an extended terminal cable to reach your main starter battery!) - $200 * Lowrance Elite 5 GPS/Fish Finder Combo unit, with white Lowrance Sun Cover (Don't even have to run power!! - the US2 cable on the trolling motor does that for you!) - $300 Everything listed here is 2 years old and extremely well taken care of - I bought it all new. Boat is always covered and never left in the sun for extended periods of time so nothing here is faded or weathered... all still looks brand new. Everything is currently mounted to the boat but can be removed in an hour or two. I would like to sell this as a turn-key package to someone who would appreciate and utilize this gear on their boat. I have over $2,275 invested in this set-up... I'm willing to part with it all to a fellow LOU member for $1,100 cash or paypal. I'll have this on Craigslist for more. I can meet anywhere in the greater Binghamton area, or anywhere between Binghamton and Watertown off I-81 within reason. Obviously, I'm not entertaining shipping. PM me if you're interested - Thanks for looking!

Look at the Amish rigger snubbers for another option. They've been great the last 2 seasons for me running 15# sharks.

Work is going to put a big damper on my fishing reports for a few weeks. Business trip to India ruined this past weekend, and will be here in India through Sunday ruining this coming weekend as well. My wife is in a wedding in Ohio the following weekend that we have to attend, and then I have to head to San Diego for work the following weekend. Looks like the week of 6/27 is my next opening. St Lawrence Musky Help

Thank you all for your kind replies and PM's. Some great info that will surely help me put my Dad on one this season. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Lake Ontario United mobile app -
I bought a handful of renowsky's and wow... what poor quality. They ran horribly and had a terrible action and we're so bad you couldn't even fix them through tuning. I'm just stating my experience. I got rid of them all. I'm surprised they work. I've never ever had to touch a bomber out of the package. Great lures on Lake O for walleye. Sorry for the delayed response - had to take a last minute business trip to India, just landed in Mumbai. Really cutting into my family and fishing time... Won't be back until next Sunday. Always run Fluoro leaders. With sticks the leader is only the length of the rod because I use beads with a barrel swivel to keep debris off the business end - 10lb Seaguar. On all of my cores I have 40-45' of 12 lb Seaguar. Lots of controversy on leader length on cores... long has worked great for me so I've never changed it. 50-60fow has been loaded with suspended eyes. Cores and spoons have recently produced better than sticks for us. Better luck next time Kevin.

Loaded a bunch of my gear in my buddy Bill's boat and headed out with him and his wife for what turned out to be another great day on Lake O. Finished with 5 different species hitting the net. Action started with the smallest little King I've ever caught - released, followed by a decent steely - released, lost a really nice steely at the back of the boat pushing 10lbs, a bunch of Lakers - kept 2, a small Brown - released, and another Steely - released. Headed back in to BRB to find a walleye and immediately got one of them, along with a beautiful Brown. The day wasn't all fun though - I brought my Amish boards on his boat because he was complaining about how poorly his otter boats (with extra half keels) ran with just 2 lead cores per side. I was hesitant because he has the yellow Dacron on his planer reels and I know how hard my boards pull. He couldn't believe we ran 3,4,5,6 color cores on each side all day and they ran harder and better than the otters do without a single line on them. The things pull hard and do not lag at all. Anyway... Toward the end of the day we're just trolling along and SNAP!!!! My Port Amish Board snapped his Tow line and there it goes floating down BrB. We fire drill all 9 rods back in the boat, reel the other board in, and head down the bay to recover my board. Needless to say he's ordering Amish boards and their 500lb spectra tow line tonight. Otter Boats will be on the classifieds soon for the next guy. Enjoy the few pics I got today.

I've got things fairly well figured out in the big lake for Trout/Salmon/Walleye on the east end. My dad and I were drinking some beers on the deck this weekend kicking around the idea of trying for Musky this year for something different. I'd really like to get him on a nice one this year... None of us are getting any younger so don't want to wait till it's too late. Looking to speak to someone fairly knowledgeable on the St Lawrence and surrounding area for Musky to help get us a decent start on them when season opens. I've got all the right gear (boat/rods/reels) minus lures and some larger terminal tackle - that's not a problem. Really just looking for some general local info. Gladly willing to share intel on the big lake as well. Thanks guys!

Left the dock at 5:30am back at 10:00am. Wanted browns, caught a bunch of Walleye. Ended with 7 nice eyes. Guess ya gotta take what Lake O gives ya. 3,4,5 color cores on the port, 3,4,6 color cores on the starboard, riggers down 20' and 30' with nothing but Michigan Stinger Spoons across the entire spread. (I told you I was going for Browns!!!) Fresh Walleye fry is on tonight!!! Here's 2 pics from a very short lived rough trip from yesterday. Pickeral and a laker.

Released 40+ fish in the last week off lead cores Paul... All survived just fine. How's that compare to releasing fish after wearing them out with Inlines? I've got to believe much worse. No one is offending or attacking anyone, but clearly some people enjoy fighting the fish and some people like to fight plastic devices in the water. As Sk8 said, to each his own.

Exactly! Caught kings on Ugly Stik light action rods and 12lb test the last few days... I wouldn't get out of bed if we were fighting Inlines. That's just lame. Even getting them on cores and coppers off big boards or down the chute has a diminished experience for me, but they do work well and that forces me to keep deploying them. I would never run an inline ever for anything...
