ok I won't get back this year anyways but was curious as when I was there a few weeks ago it was slow I never hooked up with a king the three days I fished. Only got one small steely
I was in the same situiation as you two years ago. Luckily a friend of ours gave me his Mag 10A's for free however when he sold the boat the female plugs went with it..so, I looked around and checked out fish307.com who has allot of legacy Canon parts. no dice so I ordered the new conversion plugs. I must say that it was well worth the $$. the new plugs are far heavier duty and have caps that seal the terminations...I highly recommend them.
I do not have a fh yet bit planning on one for my next major purchase for next year. Reading these posts makes me believe that I also need to invest in some heavier dr weights as right now I am running 8 and 10 lb weights! Talk about blowback!
We have one on my dad's boat. It's great for fishing shallower lakes to say 60 feet. But I don't know how much fun it's gonna be cranking them up and down 100 plus feet on lake o? U will have strong arms though
So what would be the most ideal setup as far as winds go or is it really any constant wind pattern to set the lake up? I understand that a nw wind would produce the biggest waves. Can someone explain this alittle for me?
