  1. I live in northville. I would troll the islands toward the middle of the lake.,early morning or late afternoon. The lake is really high and the islands provide allot of ambush cover. Look for areas that have close access to deeper water.,if u want to venture further, head north toward the bachelor file bridge. Go past the bridge until u hit the sharp bend in the lake.,hit that nm corner.,a nice creek comes in there and always holds northerns. A closer spot for u would be to head behind sand island and scout island.mthey are pretty much due east of u. Good luck.,I ice fish and spring fish the lake. This spring was exceptional, got many northerns over 42" and a few pushing 48"

  14. Staying at Selkirk shores second week of augurs can I launch my 221 islander from the launch I can access at port ontario or do I have to goto mex point like I did last year?
  15. I believe bellows have a life expectancy of about 10 years. I just had to put 700 into my islander that I bought 2 summers ago. She is a 1991 original plug wires rotor plugs and rebuilt carbs but she is 24 years old and knew I would have to do those things when I bought her but the guy I bought it from had no clue that it would need to be done. Also, I just want to mention that everyone has their own idea of ready to fish etc. some people are very meticulous and organized. Some less so but seem to be just as happy. Friend or family whoever is shelling out the money should be cautious no matter what
