  7. Hey sounds great everyone! What channel will everyone be on? 68 sounds like the main channel up there. I will be in a blue 221 Islander. There is no name on the boat. We will be dropping in using a 24' RV so you wont miss our rig
  8. YEah, I fill it on the trailer. I have also pulled it out as muc has possible can watc hthe fill line fill up and bubble etc. I have tried with it all the way in and it happens even faster. Have tried it in every position. I have not tried to rotate the nozzel though, I will definatly try that.
  9. My 91 221 Islander takes forever to fill the tank! Meaning, I cant fill it up to quickly because the fuel always backs up into the nozzel and constantly turns the nozzel off. The air/fuel vent is working cause when I am filling I can feel the air coming out..But man, it takes me 15 minutes or better to fill the tank. any thoughts?
  10. Tim, why dont you do one of two things...1. get some tire covers white, like you see on RV's,. will protect from the sun.. or #2. Pull the tires off your empty trailer altogether
  11. Please keep these posts coming. I will be there next Friday for the first time!
  12. I just threw 4 radials on mine. talk about quiet and sweet ot pull
  13. My 221 Islander does the same thing. I noticed that it is worse when I added the 9.9 kicker to the back..i.e. lifting up the front more. add 200lbs of weight in the bow
  14. well, I will be out of Mexico next Friday for the weekend. Am I nevvous..yes!
  15. actively feed 42-46 by the book I have read
  16. get radials
  17. so next weekend (mid August) would be a good time to start them? I could use one on my deep rigger and try it
  18. wait, so that chart that I printed off and laminated was for 20lb mono and not my wire! geez.............
  19. After reading this thread, I am covered with the VHF so I can check that off my list. I need a new FF with GPS for sure and I might bite the bullet an get a new Fish Hawk with D next year. Around $600 but hey, might as well. so between the new FF of about $600 and a Fish Hawk with Depth I am gonna budget $1500 for electronics next year. Here is to hoping that my maple syrup season is as good next spring as it was this spring cause that is my boat Money!
  20. CAN SOMEONE POST A PIC OF HOW THIS ATTACHES TO THE DOWNRIGGER? ALSO, DO YOU REALLY HAVE TO LET OUT ALL THE CABLE AT THE SAME TIME YOU ARE LETTING YOUR BALL DOWN?
  21. well there you go!
  22. I will check mine before I install it this weekend!
  23. oh ok..should be a simple reweld then. probably can take it to a local shop and be cheap
  24. that would be ideal however I doubt would ever hold the Islander?
