The 201-pound, 16-pointer has been unofficially green-scored — a drying period is in order before an official and final measurement is taken. If the measurement stands, Daigle's buck will be our state record, its rack scoring an incredible non-typical 198-1/4-inch gross and 192 net, beating the previous state record typical category whitetail. I bought two at The Happy Hooker Bait Shop on Lake Chautauqua the week of Sept 23-29. The owner was telling me he was trying to sell the place and his website was still up and running. It seems to be down now. I'm not familiar with the Okuma's but I had a similar problem with one of my Penn GT levelwinds and mono. On the star drag side of the Penn there's a spring loaded spool tensioner button and when I tightened it a bit the problem was resolved. Part number 26B on the schematic. Here's a couple of pics of the Baker that musky was caught on. I love the quality of this crankbait. Note the date by the tail section. But the best thing about these lures is that they work.

I recently bought two Baker crankbaits to fish Lake Chautauqua and these are the finest quality lures I have ever used. The finish is absolutely beautiful and each crank was signed "Baker" with the year 2012. I remember telling my brother in law that we needed some teeth marks on the Baker so some day my son would see those marks and remember the year we fished Chautaqua together. Here's a picture of a nice musky that Baker caught.
