    I'm looking for a 16-18ft aluminum boat. Looking for something basic, prefer no carpet but will consider. Prefer deep v but will consider other. Without a motor would be best since I just bought a 9.9 but will consider one with motor. Not looking to spend more than $4500 but will consider a little more for the right boat.

    I am in the market for a new to me boat. I currently have a 1994 sporcraft 232 fm. I love it when fishing 4 and even 5 guys but any more it can get a little tight. I'm looking for something under $20,000 that's a little bigger or set up a little different that has more room. It must be a hard top and trailer able. I don't want something that I need a permit to use too. I like the penn yan but know very little in regards to them. Any suggestions would be great.

    I am considering selling my 1994 Sportcraft 232 FM hard top cuddy cabin. The only reason I'm considering selling it is to move up to a bigger boat. It comes with a volvo 4.3 penta I/o dual prop. New ship to shore radio and antenna. New Garmin 93sv. Big jon manual 6ft planer mast with amish line and plastic amish boards. I believe (2) 36 inch Amish bags. 2 diehard platinum batteries, stereo, full swim platform, anchor and rope. Drop curtain. 48 inch track for rod holders. 8 spot rod holder on hard top. 4 new tires and bearing last year. I have owned it for 4 years and has never had any issues. Engine runs strong and always up to date on schedule maintenance and winterization. Very clean well maintained boat. The only items not with the boat are my scotty 1116 downriggers and rod holders. Always trailered to lake. Im sure I am missing something. I'm asking $12,000 for it, located in Ridgway, PA.

    I switched all my reels two years ago to Okuma Clarions LC. Do they come from the factory with carbon fiber drags. If they don't, is there a big difference from factory to carbon fiber. Thanks Nick
