  1. if you are looking for lakers try further north, start at sandy pond and troll north and i would try deeper.start in 120 and work out to 150.drop weight till it hits bottom then bring it up a foot or two.we do that with the rigger without the probe, then send the probe down to match the other rigger.
  2. i paid that for mine brand new with1 year warranty.good luck!!!!

  4. fleas were not bad in the morning sunday, but they started getting heavy on the wire around noon.we spooled up the rigger rods with 200 ft of 40 lb big game mono and they were clean when we brought them up.fleas never stuck to the 40 lb.

  10. Nice fish Dan,think we passed you on the way out, quick 2 hour trip till dark, fished between the rivers, had same temp. In 70 to 80 fow, lots of bait, but no fish.
  11. thanks barry, pap he wasnt that dark when we got him,i think its from sitting in the cooler and that pic.was taken with my 10 year old flip phone.

  13. had my brother and some of his co-workers out on saturday.headed up north to the dunes to make sure we bent some rods for them and after some lakers and a steelie,as we were getting ready to pick up the dipsy starts ripping and after a nice battle landed a 20 lb king.
  14. nice job, remember sometimes less is more!!!
  15. is it sold then????
  16. we also run on the slower side 2.0 to 2.2 and very rarely are ever over 2.5.but thats what works for us.one of the most valuable things learned at this years lotsa salmon school was to figure out what works on your boat and go with it.dont be to concerned what works for others.get out there and experiment with speed and temp. and as you start picking up fish take notes and figure out what works for you on your boat.
  17. thats a great day!!!!thanks for the report.
  18. Must be a morning thing, fished from 4 pm till 8.50 ft rigger popped that's it.didnt mark much bait and pretty much no fish.set up just west of the little salmon and worked all the way past the stack.from 130 fow to 220.
