Yes, my Cannon retrieve kits work fine as well, plenty of length.

I figured this day was coming....
Thanks Capt Rich for investigating.

Total rewire, upgrade to 4 stroke main (looking for a used one) and 4 stroke kicker. First year in many that I haven’t bought trolling rods, reels, or spoons in the off season. I have some more copper rigs to set up that were purchased last year.

Yes that rod holder looks amazing. I also use truck bedliner spray on my Torpedo downrigger weights.

Amen. Congrats on a beautiful buck.

I think I am going to go with a Tenpoint Wicked Ridge Invader 400. I would have to replace the scope though and I would probably but a speed ring Hawke on it. Sucks, I wish they would just sell the bare crossbow as an option.
Both bow and scope are an excellent choice. When I bought the Vortex, I didn’t do much research. I should have considered the 2-8x36 Hawk XB30.

I replaced the factory scope on my Excalibur with a Vortex Crossfire II. It has holdover points out to 100 yards. Not an expensive scope ($199) but I like the extra range for target shooting. Ravin sells a similar longer range scope ($359).

Thanks, Laker. I’ve been talking to Jeff about this boat for a few weeks now. Still waiting to see if they’re able to upgrade the steering to hydro so I can install auto pilot.

Here is an older one (2005) with a new 4-stroke Merc 115. Located in Sault Ste Marie, MI. A friend of mine owns the boat dealership. I’m not sure if it’s been sold yet.

Yes, JoeFro is correct. I ordered several insulators from fish307 for spares a couple years ago

Wow, that’s crazy. I run an older a pair of Mag 10 and mount the mounting blocks direct to Traxstech swivel bases. They are very solid.

Yeah it seems like a great color. I have no idea. Sorry that you lost it.

The back is stamped Northern King Magnum. I’m not sure what color it is.

Crazy lucky things that happened while trolling.

On Lake Huron last summer while bottom bouncing a Gambler Rig in 100 FOW we caught a downrigger rod, Okuma reel, dodger, spoon, and a lake trout still attached to the spoon. No other boats around at the time, although the fish was still very much alive.
