Depends if you are going to use a riser or not. The traxstech gimbal mount is already pre-drilled to fit a 6" track. For the Cisco gimbal mount, if you don't use risers, you could drill and countersink holes to an aluminum plate to match the Cisco gimbal mount hole pattern and to match the width of the track slot underneath the trolling bar. You will also need some hold down screws. Difficult to explain without proper sizes or pictures, but I am away from my boat currently. I wrap the leader and fly around the flasher, then use a rubber band to secure them. They all go in a clear plastic Plano box. I change them up based on favorite color combos and what's working. I get too many tangles any other way. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

Here is my set-up for my 1979 16ft Sea Sprite Deck Boat. I've trolled Lake Michigan and Huron with this boat but mainly use it for inland lakes and bays. A little extreme with the boards plus rod holders but I like having the extra side height to keep my kids and dogs in the boat. The boards are mounted to 6 inch track sections. I also have a 2x12 treated board mounted across the back of the boat, covered in marine carpeting to mount my downriggers to. I cut a notch out at the center for the outboard tilt. They are usually 2 sections of 4 foot each attached in the center with a plate underneath. I own one of these and also a Bert's. I run them down the sides of my secondary boat. LT fishing is very hard work, yet very rewarding also. When targeting lake trout, I never sit down. Always working the riggers, watching the downrigger arms for just the right amount of touching bottom, hooking fish for others, etc. I usually search for wide flat bottom areas in 95 to 120 feet on Huron and spend my time going across the flat, back and forth between 1.2 and 2 mph (1.6 average) depending on the waves. Gambler rigs work and they work great. The only unknown for me that I need to figure out after I get out there is color and cowbells vs Dodgers. Depends on the day. I've had 100% cowbell days and 100% dodger days. Green has been a hot color this summer as well as white. I use Hammerhead size 5 cowbells and trash can / smoke or green Dodgers. When I was young I made trips with my Dad up in Northern Ontario to target lake trout. That's where I learned about cowbell techniques. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
