  9. Thanks guys regarding the question about heat. We don't have power where we hunt, so I might try my battery / RV furnace blower and see how long it will last, only using it for sleeping. Will prob bring a back-up battery and also run my truck from time to time to charge the battery. I also have a Big Buddy heater I can use and my camper has a good CO detector.
  10. Nice campers! I’m considering taking ours to camp this year. What do you guys use for heat? RV furnace? How long does your battery last or do you bring a generator? Thanks for any info. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  11. 'Brutal' is my favorite word for an above-average wavy day.
  12. I have what Minn Kota calls an onboard alternator charger, 3 bank. I’ve never used it or installed it so I don’t know how well they work. Supposedly the power source comes from your main motor’s alternator. Once your starting battery is full, the extra charge from your alternator is sent to your trolling batteries. This should work well if you run long distances on your main motor, otherwise I’m not sure...... Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  13. Nice! It would be great if you could sell the Bull Frog/Froggy aluminum as a combo on your website. Your new Gilligan color was a big hit on Huron this summer. [emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. Awesome write-up (thanks for listing what worked) and very successful season. Congrats! And for a guy who makes the best laker rigs known to man (Gambler Rigs) you didn't even mention them? Humility.......

  20. A video I found on you tube. This looks like a plastic dodger but standard dodgers are similar with somewhat of a roll action as well.
  21. Yes, your riggers slide on the block and are locked down by that thumb bolt. You have to lift up the bolt while you are sliding them on, then tighten. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  22. You have "Tab Locks" mounted to your boat. I believe those are for only for Cannon Lake-Troll, Sport-Troll, Easi-Troll, and Mini-Mag downriggers.....and might also have a different mounting pattern than your swivel base. The swivel base + mounting block is for most of the large body Cannon electric downriggers. You will need to remove the tab locks if you have the full size downriggers (Mag10a, Mag10, Mag15, Mag20, etc), and mount your swivel base(s) to your boat instead.
  23. I believe it's called a cast control cap, for the purposes mentioned by everyone above. I lost one off of a Convector 30 and ordered a replacement from Tuna Tom. You can also find them on Ebay. A very common replacement part.
  24. PM sent. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
