  1. I fish Lake Michigan out of Milwaukee. A lot of the area is flat as a pancake and we troll for fish on the bottom in the middle of the day. I'm going with an X4D so I can get an accurate reading of how close the rigger is to the bottom.
  2. Was that just a pocket post?
  3. Like new Depth Raider with new roll of cable and original box. Used only for half of a season. It worked flawlessly every time I used it. Paid $415 for it new from Cabelas. Includes all of the necessary cables, display unit, and probe with a dropper line already attached. Also a brand new 200' spool of coated cable. Price is $300 shipped to your door. Purchase with confidence - I have an 8000+ positive comment rating on eBay and over 20 transactions here on this forum.
  4. I guess I'll run another season with my humminbird 597. If I had the cash, I'd upgrade to the new Raymarine a78.
  5. I used one of these except in an 8 blade style. http://www.bluesea.com/products/5025/ST_Blade_Fuse_Block_-_6_Circuits_with_Negative_Bus_and_Cover The other nice thing is what you can do depending on your rigger power draw, you put in a small amp fuse and the fuse will blow right away if there is something wrong. For instance, if there is a hang up with your dr ball and you dont have the clutch set just right. Instead of stripping your gears, you just blow a 50 cent fuse. Whatever way you choose, each rigger should have its own fuse.
  6. Here is what I would do. Buy a 5 blade fuse block - like the ones that BlueSea systems makes. Run wires from your battery (or battery switch/selector) to the fuse holder. Wire each rigger to the fuse block. This way each rigger has its own fuse, plus you can wire other stuff in the back of the boat to the fuse block. You can also wire in a switch to turn off the riggers. That way if you just going out for a cruise, kids wont flip the up/down on your rigger and ruin an entire spool of wire....dont ask me how I know about that one
  7. Is it true that the Dragonfly has no outputs at all so you cant interface it with a autopilot?
  8. I would go with 2 batteries to be on the safe side and then have a seperate cranking battery. Wire the 2 batteries as one and isolate the cranking battery with a battery switch. You can start the main motor off the 2 batteries and just switch it over to the crank battery if they dont have enough juice. To your trailer your boat or are you in a slip?
  9. The newest Raymarine for cable steered boats is the Raymarine EV-200 Sport Pilot Model number is Raymarine EV-200 Sport Pilot Can be found online for around $1775 Its the one that will be going on my 25ft boat in Spring....thats if Spring ever comes.
  10. Well if you have a actual place to mount it on your boat its nice to have tracks. It spread the load out from the dispy rather than on a single point plus you can swap stuff in/out without making more holes in your boat. Really depends if you have a 18ft aluminum boat or a 20+ foot fiberglass boat.
  11. Yeah you need to have a track system for them (even a small 12" section) and metal rod holders. Other was big king equals bye bye rod and rod holder. What type or rod are you using for it? Also, put a large bead (larger than the rod tip) or 2 before you swivel that connects the wire to your leader. This is so you can store the rod with the line pulled somewhat tight. You dant want to store it with the wire bent over the last guide/roller. This will also prevent someone from reeling the swivel into the guide/roller when fighting a fish. Lastly, if you kink it you have to cut it. Leaving a bad kink or frayed line (even if one or two stands) means you can lose a big fish and an expensive dispsy, flasher, and fly....dont ask me how I know
  12. What kinda line are you using them for. Might be cheaper and a better option to go with the new Diawa Seagate Levelwinds.
  13. Yes I can take paypal but the lot is currently pending sale to a buddy of Justin B. I'll let you know if the deal falls through.
  14. The cold weather shouldnt have any impact on bait. The water isnt really colder than normal when you are talking about where the bait fish hide out in the winter. Its just a matter if we have a normal Spring this year and no unseasonable cold snaps that messes with the bait migrations/spawning. Im no expert - but just my thoughts on the matter.
  15. Price lowered to $130 shipped.
  16. I purchased a huge lot of flashers from a charter captain. I kept a few and the rest are up for sale. I replaced the tape on a lot of them with high quality flasher tape. These are all no-fin flashers. I prefer to run this style since they can change direction, or so I've heard. Between the price I paid for them and the cost of the custom cut tape, I'm just looking to get my money out of them to put into more gear. There is a mix of Oki Tackle Lil Shooters, Hot Spots, Coyotes - some are unmarked but they have the same blank shape as Hot Spots. Most retail for $10 to $12 each and that doesnt include some of the expensive tape that I added. Some of the flashers will need a cross-lock swivel on the back end. # - Brand - Front - Back 1 - Oki Lil Shooter - Red Prism - Custom UV 2 - Oki Lil Shooter - Red Prism - Custom UV 3 - Oki Lil Shooter - Red Prism - Chrome 4 - Oki Lil Shooter - Red Prism - Chrome 5 - Oki Lil Shooter - Red Prism - Chrome 6 - Unmarked - Disco - Standard Silver Square 7 - Oki Lil Shooter - Glow blank with paint - Prism 8 - Pro Troll - Glow blank with paint - Custom UV 9 - Hot Spot - Glow blank with paint - Standard Silver Square 10 - Coyote - Perl Fish Scale - Perl Fish Scale 11 - Unmarked - Prism with painted stripe - Custom Green Oil Slick 12 - Unmarked - Prism with painted stripe - Standard Silver Square Pro Troll - Custom Blue Bubble - Custom Blue Bubble Hot Spot - Crush Glow - Custom Blue Bubble Unmarked - Crush Glow - Custom Blue Bubble Oki Lil Shooter - Yellow/Green Prism - Yellow/Green Prism Oki Lil Shooter - Custom Mountain Dew - Standard Silver Square Oki Lil Shooter - Crush Glow - Blue/Purple/Silver Prism Coyote - Custom Mountain Dew - Pearl Fish Scale Oki Lil Shooter - Blue/Purple/Silver Prism - Blue/Purple/Silver Prism Unmarked - Crush Glow - Standard Silver Square Hot Spot - Crush Glow - Custom Green Oil Slick Unmarked - Custom Green Crush - Standard Silver Square Unmarked - Crush Glow - Custom UV 25 - Oki Lil Shooter - Prism - Glow white with NBK 26 - Oki Lil Shooter - Clear Fish Scale - Prism with Stripe 27 - Oki Lil Shooter - Green/Blue/Silver Prism - Chrome blank 28 - Oki Lil Shooter - Green/Blue/Silver Prism - Chrome blank 29 - Oki Lil Shooter - Crush Glow - Chrome blank 30 - Oki Lil Shooter - Prism - Glow white with NBK 31 - Oki Lil Shooter - Green/Yellow/Silver Prism - Chrome Blank with Diagonal Tape 32 - Oki Lil Shooter - Chrome Blank with Diagonal Tape - Clear Fish Scale with Diagonal Tape 33 - Oki Lil Shooter - Crush Glow - Custom UV Purchase with confidence - I have an 8000+ positive comment rating on eBay and over 20 transactions here on this forum.

  21. The UV has the benefit of being able to shine up the blue and purple glow spoons. I know with the box that I made, the greens glow for over an hour and its the only good way at night to glow up the blue and purple spoons. I just throw 10 spoons in the box at once and then glow them up for 5-10 min. If they are fading after only 10-15 min, then they arent the greatest of glow spoons.
  22. Im leaning towards the same one with the sport drive. Any one have one with the sport/wheel drive?
  23. Both sets of walleye boards are sold. I lowered the price on the tx22.
