  1. Put ur time in and burn some fuel an you may get lucky. Takes some searchin t locate em, but there their, it aint for the faint of heart fisherman.
  2. Spent a lot of time trolling those waters. Troll faster wen searching for em 2.8 then slower dwn when u find em 2.2 - 2.5. Cold water is the only time I slow roll for em. You wil be trophy huntin
  3. What about posting info about pen rearing at public launches such as sandy. I have fished there for years and wouldn't begin to know where to start to find out how to help out. Yea I did just find the post about helpin out but not everyone is into the whole internet thing. Just an idea. An I am in for this sprig in lending a hand where ever needed.
  4. yea definatly ethanol free at the nice and easy in chamount, big parking lot which makes it easy with a boat.
  5. A little hard to save up 3500 cash wen ur a younge buck trying to make it on your own. If you gota get a loan for a boat do it. You only live once, I took a loan 4 a boat for 15000 when I was 21. Glad I did because I have used that same money when I sold it and upgraded my boat which would have been imposible to do now with kids.

  10. I was woundering the same thing. haven't got to erie in a month. Hows the bite been and how deep have people been getin their fish. I haven't got riggers on new boat yet, but got wire divers , leadcore and jet divers. Just woundering if it be worth the 2.5 hr ride to Dunkirk. I seen the 70 ft down report by mostly muskies dam that's deep, only my dipseys will get me their unless I snap weight my leads. Thanks joe
  11. Looks awsome. Nice work, Makes me want to get one mounted!
  12. Yea definatly a great time. Its one of the only tournaments that you don't have to take a small loan out to enter. haha Definatly helps when you have young children.

  14. my barn was built in 1985 and they don't leak a drop can work in ther all day with running no power. Light up the whole place, but I guess if you got the money to burn do it I will buy more fishing tackle.
  15. Well on the brite side the next trip outa be better than the last
  16. I would recommend clear panels in the roof, I have 4 clear panels in my pole barn that is 35 by 65 and u don't need to turn on light until dark out side. Do u walleye fish outa Henderson. We have a cottage on point peninsula and ben fishin that water my whole life.
  17. on aluminium boats the nada is useless, they go way over the nada value. Last yr i sold my 2004 16 ft side consel crestliner for 9000 to the first guy that looked at it nada had it a t i think was 6000.
  18. Sounds like fun. Wish i could make it down, jst packing up for a weekend long batchlor party at our huntin camp. Have fun and good job putting this tourney together united we are! Will be checking the results wen i get back. Looks like a awsome lake to fish with the rooling hills in the back ground as i have seen in the background of the pics posted on lou, at that point the fish are just a bonus, wit a miniute that is always the case. Good luck to all and hope yas slamem!
  19. Looks good, be nice for the nite bite and the early mornings
  20. I use braid as a backed u can get a lot more on than mono. I got 10 colors and I belive it was 400 ft braid on a 47
  21. Awsome job! I am sure your nephews enjoyed the trip, my uncle use to take me and that is what has got me hooked. Had some good times on erie and chamount bay with him. He passed last spring but what he taught me will last forever.
  22. The smile on you and ur sons faces are priceless, Thats what its all about. Love to see the youth of the sport out ther, the next generation of king fisherman!
  23. awesome job you slammed em, nice boat, nice report, thanks for sharing.
  24. matt, sad to see ur post lol, I have had many good days on the water with the jakeybaby, it has treated u very well. Over the years fishing on it, it never skipped a beat and was a awesome plat form to fish out of and very well maintained. On a lighter note cant wait to start dragging fish over the transom of the new boat.
