    I was against crossbows at first like everyone else until I broke down and bought one last year. I bought it on a Thursday took it home sighted it in and was in my treestand with it that Saturday morning. At 8am I put a bolt through a very nice 10 point and he didn't go 40 yrds.     reel for weighted steel Im searching for a reel to set up my steel line on. I need one with a line counter that can support 200 steel with 19 strain wire and braid backing. I have been looking at the shimano tekota 700 but dont really want to spend $220 if i dont have to.

    Flutter is not affected by the split shot. I run them 6 to 8 feet in front of the spoon down the chute and you can see the movement in the rod tip from the spoon.
