  2. We use fire brine in purple and in blue but we don't do it for the color nessasrily but more for the shine it creates. We also buy a case of green label hearing and cut it up ourselves Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  6. Left the dock at 5am Saturday for the 3rd leg of the koto series. The plan was to work the inside waters early and try to get a staging king or 2 then head north. We worked the inside for a couple hours but nothing to show so Nick pointed the boat north. We worked out to almost 600ft and back in with only 3 small fish to show for it. Nick swung into 130 ft or so and the dipsey fired again and this time there was a freight train on the other end. After some problems with a sailboat and about a 30 min fight Garret slipped the net under my first 30 lber! What a time for it to happen at 1pm in a tournament with 2 derbies going on! We ended up in 3rd for the tournament and took big fish prize. We also took 2nd in the salmon division for the orleans county rotary derby. The fish hit our uv purple Minion flies meat rig behind a 11 inch white echip paddle. In fact all the fish we weighed in came on that rig. 7. very tough fishing for sure this weekend. We only took 4 bites all day and we trolled from 50 ft out to almost 600 then back in again. Our big one came in 120 or 130 ft
  8. you must of been the boat just on the outside of us that i thought the sailboat was going to run into as i was fighting my fish. It seems like that same sailboat does that to us just about every weekend.

  19. Running 4 flashers on the riggers at the same time will work if the kings are aggressively feeding. I can tell you that we never do that at most we have 2 flashers but even that is rare. We usually run one deep meat with whatever your favorite paddle is mine is a white and green dot 10 inch big weenie whip tail flasher. Then there is usually spoons on the other 3 riggers. 22. ok its time for me to upgrade to a bigger boat Im selling my 1978 18 ft aluminum starcraft that has a 90 johnson outboard and a 9.9 johnson kicker motor as well. The 90 horse was rebuilt in 2010 by pugsley marine and is a perfect runner. It starts with just a turn of the key even in the cold weather. The 9.9 kicker is a 1 pull motor and will run all day on a tank of gas (5 gal). I rebuilt the carb in it this spring cause it wasnt running right but now she runs like a dream. The boat comes with a full canvas top, ez load trailer, lowarance mark 5x pro fish finder, depth raider down speed down temp, 2 collapsible planner boards and masts but the handles on both the reels are broke. Now for the bad stuff. the boat does have a slow leak in it somewhere but i cant find it cause i cant flip the boat over. I have sealed everything i can see but couldnt get everything. It hasnt stopped me from using it cause the bilge pump has no problem keeping the water out. there is a small tear in the drivers side window up at the top. The floor needs to be redone but i have laid new plywood in it so i could use it for this yr. the boat has some flaws but that to be expected for a 1978. Im asking $3200 or best offer Im really in the market for a bigger boat but the Mrs said I need to make room in the driveway before i can get the next boat so i would be open to any offers. This boat was a great starter boat for me but now my lady and i are looking for something with a cuddy to sleep on and a boat big enough to tournament fish on when the weather isnt nice. Feel free to pm me or text me 585 319 6106 my name is Dave.
  23. Not overkill if you have a bunch of hungry guys eating them fresh out of the fryer! Can't wait to drop them in the grease. We might have enough for another person of 2 if anyone is hungry. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    Catfish

Yes exactly. Right were the clyde river dumps into the canal just south of Lyons ny. I think the name of the road is Lyons morango Rd. Fish the canal or the Clyde river any where in that area with your favorite bait and you will have constant action with 10 to 15 lb cats being possible.
