  4. Fished east of the bay trolled without a bite most of the morning till we found a small patch of colored water that was absolutely stacked. We ended up with 15 bites and boated only 6. Guess its time for new hooks on my spoons. Small alpena diamond spoons on the riggers where the hot ticket for us but we also took a few on firetiger j9 stickbait off the boards Sent from my LG-D631 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  7. Where do you guys get your hooks and rattles from to tie your own fly leaders? I tried to order from atomic but they said they no longer offer them. What size and brand hooks does everyone use also? Sent from my LG-D631 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Flat calm days find where 42 degrees meets the bottom and go to town. The reeling straight in techniques that we use on keuka wont work because lakers wont chase in the warmer temps that are closer to the surface im the summer Sent from my LG-D631 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  10. I got the call from a buddy that it was splash down time for his boat. We launched his boat around 4 and everything was good with the boat so east we headed out of the chute. We trolled to I bay running 4 rods off the boards and 2 riggers and never even had a bite. We tried a bunch off our favorite spoons on riggers and sticks on the boards but just couldnt get any thing going. We tried speeds from 1.8 to 2.2 surface speeds. The best temps we found were 37 degrees in 6ft of water any deeper it would drop to 35.8. It was great to be back on the water though! Sent from my LG-D631 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
