  3. Thanks it was a great morning to be in the water. I forgot to mention that key spped was 2.6 - 2.8 down speed. All the fish were released unharmed except for the biggest king she engoulfed the whole spoon and was hooked in gills and bleeding bad Sent from my SCH-I535 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  6. Saturday am went out with Nick from RIGGED and caught 12 fish in 2 hrs inside of 100' out of sandy and that was the plan for this morning till i got to the boat and got a tip from a buddy that the inside was all ice water and to start in 180' and he was right on. Dropped 2 riggers 2 wire divers and a 300 copper in at 179. Probe rigger parked at 40' had 50 degrees and was pulling a mag carbon 14 spoon. Parked the other rigger at 50' pulling blue dolphin spoon with uv ladder. Got both riggers in turned around to grap a sd and fly for the port diver and the 50' rigger started screaming. I grabbed it and handed it off to my nephew and after a good battle we slipped the net under 25# king. Got the fish in the boat and then the probe rigger fired my nephew was all over it. After a short battle we netted a 12# king. All rods cleared i put down a blue sd and purple crinkle mirage fly then went to set back the probe rigger and the dipsey started ripping. I grabbed it and handed it to Sheila and she went to work on him. After a nice battle we netted a nice 15# king. I managed to get both riggers back down after i changed probe rigger to a mag blue dolphin spoon. I got the dipsey barely back in the water when the probe rigger fired maybe 2 mins after i put it back down. Sheila jumped all over it and the fight was on! The fish ripped 200' of line off in no time at all. She couldnt do anything but laugh as the reel was screaming. After about a 15 - 20 min fight and change of direction with the boat we netted a 24 3/4 king. I reset the rieggers and managed to get both dipseys in and a 300 copper pulling goldie hawns sister spoon which only took 2 skippys. We picked away at the fish steadily till about 10:30. The first hour was absolutley insane as we cleared both riggers and a dipsey 3 different times with fish. We also caught 2 steelheads around 10# later in the morning. We caught over 20 fish this morning all were kings but 2. Most of our fish were 10-15# with 3 over 20#. Only caught 3 skippys today. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  8. launched the boat around 4 waited at the dock for a couple of my workers to take them on their 1rst Lake O Fishing experience. Watching the radar we left the dock around 430. We dropped in at 70' cause of the weather i didnt want to go too deep. Set out 2 riggers with spoons 2 wire dispeys pulling ff flies and a 300 copper pulling a spoon. We trolled out to 150 then back into 120 with only a skippy king to show for it. I decided at that point to get a box of lakers so they could catch something bigger. We dropped cowbells with peanut on 1 rigger and a sd and fly on the other. They werent down 30 seconds and we had a fish on the cowbells. We netted that one and the other rigger went with another nice laker. Reset them and samething but this time it took them alittle longer probably around 5 mins. Haha. We boxed 3 let the 4th go and went back to king program. We caught 4 kings all less than 10#. Ended the night 8 for 10 with 4 lakers and 4 smaller kings. The guys were more than happy with the outing. We were back at the dock by 8. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  11. Met Nick at his boat at noon after a quick gas up we headed out to try to find some browns. We dropped in at 70' trolled straight north out to 150' then all the way back in to 30'. Temp was 66 degrees all the way out to 150 and all the way back in. Marked no fish and only one pile of bait the whole time. The waves were bad but the lack of temps and fish made it suck. Hopefully we can get back on the lake tomorrow but not looking good at this point. Worked north and east of the creek Sent from my SCH-I535 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. You can catch alot of lakers with just one set of cowbells. Ive had 30 to 40 fish days running just one set of bells. Running 2 sets someti.mes is more of a pain because they get hammerd by the lakers and your constintly resetting lines. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. I was using size 4 cowbells all sivler with a green spin n glow on one side and a watermelon set in other side with a orange spin and glow. The silver cowbells took way more shots than the waternelon but the bigger fish came on watermelon Sent from my SCH-I535 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. I had my electronics burn out on my friday but took my nephew out sunday anyways. My plan was to use navionics on my phone and try to find some browns before we went to lakerville. We caught 2 browns one off a rigger parked at 50' pulling bf sea sick waddler hi viz the other off of 300 copper pulling bf uv mag 42nd spoon. Both on the small size. We trolled north til we got to lakerville. We put 2 riggers down with cowbells and spin n glows and just started hammering the lakers. We had doubles on several different times. We fished till about noon and caught over 20 lakers the biggest just under 16 lbs. My nephew had a great time reeling in all the fish. I had a blast watching him try ro figure out what to do when multiple rods fire Sent from my SCH-I535 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  20. Worst night ever i tried to go fishing with my lady and on our way out to the lake i heard a pop and lost all electronics. Checked the fuses had 2 blown so changed them and checked power all seemed fine. I tried to turn fish finder and depth raider on but wouldnt power up. After getting test light out i found that i had power in cable attached to head units but they still wouldnt turn on. Had to of fried brand new fish finder and my depth raider. If any one has a head unit to depth raider please let me know i dont have the $ to buy a whole new unit. Im returning fish finder should have a new one by next weekend but no down speed. 25. Fished from 5-8 last night worked from 85' out to 120' 2 riggers with spoons wire dipsey with ff echip combo and 300 copper with carbon 14. caught 3 fish 2 lakers and a steely. Lots of marks and lookers but not many takers. Im thinking my down speed is to slow at 2.0 - 2.2. Im going back out tonight and trying faster speed 2.6 - 2.8 and see what happens. Im catching too many lakers caught fish on 50' rigger wire dipsey back 200 on 2 setting and 300 copper and we dropped another off the copper Sent from my SCH-I535 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
