Awesome pic Nick thank you! I recognized all the pink rods in the back of the boat in the bay we were 2 minutes late 2:02 through the pier heads lol crew and I were bummed (not that we were gonna win or place) but went 8-9 and curious where we placed with the field. Thanks again for the pic
Started out infront of the shoot in 120' dropped the probe had 65 degree surface, 62 degree water down 110' fished for awhile gradually working deeper searching for temp. Made it to 240' 120' down 60 degree water. Picked up went deeper. Set up in 350 fow got 52 degree water down 120' wicked currents though 3.6 mph ball speed with 2.4-2.8 surface speed. Made our way in and out trying to find better temp. Dropped one on 600 copper green tux (bummer)
Set it back out 20 minutes later small laker. As we were reeling in that fish 120' rigger fires, double! After 3 or 4 aerial displays netted a 7 lb steelhead.
First trout ever for these guys....
Fun but very rough day (literally).
