    I think it’s worth the trip. Did well last week on staging kings. Large paddles on the riggers close to bottom and spin docs on the dipsy’s 150’-200’ out. Just gotta find a few that are willing to play. Tight lines! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    Hey Guys, Looking for some info/feedback on the best trolling reels that folks have used. I’ve been using Okuma Magda MA 30D reels on the downrigger rods.... Daiwa Accudepth 47LC reels on the diver rods. Some of them are 15+ years old and I think it’s time to upgrade. I’ve looked at Shimano Tekotas online ($200+). And Okuma Coldwaters ($109).     Cabelas just came out with a trail cam pack that includes batteries and a 16GB SD card for $69.99.... if you can’t find any trades it might be worth looking into!

    Thanks for the advice! Last time out I ran a twinkie rig about 48” long behind an 11” pro-troll flasher. Depending on work schedule I might be able to get out again on the weekend of the 7th.     Kinda slow today. Caught a few small browns early. Finally got into a mature king in 70 FOW around 10 o’clock. I sent a glow/chartreuse pro troll out 175’ on a diver and it got crushed.     Fished everything from 50-450 on Tuesday. Had to search for them but found some nice King’s around 20lb and a few steelhead. It sounds like the 250 ish water is decent right now.     Less is more in my opinion. I like a four rod setup... two riggers and two divers. It keeps things simple and you can make quick adjustments. Let us know what your favorite setup is when you get dialed in! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
