Getting ready to head to Sylvan Beach with the kayak. First time open water fishing Oneida and only ice fished it once. Anybody been having any luck over there? I have a 2015 tracker pro guide tiller I'm looking to trade. Has a 60hp mercury 4 stroke with a big tiller handle and a Powerdrive v2 trolling motor on the front. The trolling motor battery is brand new this spring. Id like to keep the electronics but if you're has comparable ones I'd let them go with it. The one on the bow is a lowrance elite9 ti2 and the one in the back is a lowrance elite12 ti2. Both brand new this year. Reason for wanting to trade is due to the covid virus my returning to work is questionable now and am trying to save some money where I can but don't really want to sell it outright unless I have to. Has 10,000 left on the loan so if you're is round about that value is be interested in a straight up trade. PM me with what you have if interested. It was WSW today at 10-20. I have a pro guide v16 and it was no issue except for getting blown sideways. Mine is a tiller so it was a little more of a hassle to control while reeling fish in. A larger boat would have no issues with this wind direction. Of be there tomorrow but ill wait for a calmer day. Once in a while you hear of charter captains hooking them in the lake. When I fish for kings from the piers in the fall the gizzard shad come in thick. Sometimes ill see something big busting on them.
