  1. NO PROBE Works perfect just don't need it. Its installed on my boat now. Will remove it once sold. $275 Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. You guys made me chicken out from the transom. So to avoid anyone's head always being in the way I track mounted just behind passenger seat. No holes in dash and now I can move it around till I find the sweet spot. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Not quick disconnect, but 4 bolts. Can't believe this is stumping me. That would solve the side to side issue, but I still can't trim. Feel like I'm doing something Wrong when I hit trim button lol. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. I don't need it trimmed up to however the travel straps (built in) aren't tight. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. It would hit anywhere I Mount. Although maybe if I was on the driver's side (my swim step is there) the tiller handle could clear? This is the outboard bracket I'm debating. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Im not sure. T5 is the newer unit. More compact (doesn't stick past the hull ). About 2.5 seconds from side to side. I'n my trophy with Alaskan top (big wind catcher) unless winds were over 30mph?? I never felt like I was "chasing" the boat to keep up. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Without the ski bar I would only have the tiller handle issue..... If I'm not 100% I'll order new kicker and sell the one I got. Was trying to avoid a $2k upgrade when the boat has never touched water lol. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  9. Fishmaster 196. Just bought it and getting her set up. Have allot of equipment that I'll be getting rid of. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. Exactly. That's why if I run my kicker it has to be on a fixed bracket. I just want to make sure hanging the kicker on the bracket I reinforce properly if needed. The ski bar does comes down fairly easy but ide love to not have to remove it. This weekend it looks like I'll be using my drift bags until I know exactly what I want. 11. The ski bar is what finally gave me permission from the wife [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. Bought it two yrs ago for my old boat. I like the idea of just setting it in the garage when not needed and not always stuck on the boat. It's the ski bar that's killing me also. With or without the tiller handle I have to be away from the transom to get full motion left to right Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. So I dropped my kicker on the new boat and my kicker doesn't fit. I added a ski pole for the kids and that unfortunately restricts my left and right 20%. So I finally accepted that is what it is and I clamped it down. Then I trimmed it up and the tiller handle hits the transom wall? I can't believe the transom well isn't deep enough for the kicker at full trim. Question is any of you Fishmaster owners had this issue. If I added a kicker bracket pushing me out 12" that would also work. Last the transom isn't wood backed in that area. How should I reinforce the transom there. Thinking plate of 1/4 aluminum inside? 16. Selling my panther steer. Bought new boat and it's not needed. It's two yrs old and worked perfect. It's the salt water series unit. I had it on a Mercury Pro Kicker 9.9 2015. Located in Rochester area. Cash only no shipping. $400 or make an offer. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. Right in front of motor is where I was thinking for fish hawk and HDS Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. My old boat was an I/O and I could picture the fish finder in the way. The new one is an outboard so I was thinking the middle will have zero traffic Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. Does anyone have their fishhawk mounted in their tracks? Really don't want to put holes in my dash and also thinking in front of the engine is better. Always hated turning around to see the monitor. I had them install a new fish finder at the dash so I'm hoping to get my old HDS and fishhawk in the back of the boat. Any suggestion or pictures would be great. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
