    I have found the bite to be best in the morning or evening. There always seems to be a mid day lull but that never stops me from trying. If I can't get on the water until 11 or 12 I still go because I know the bite will always be better out there than on the couch.

    I agree well worth the money if you fish shallow water structure at all. I had a dsi unit on my bass boat and it was amazing for locating sunken trees and deep weed beds. I will be putting an elite 7 on my new boat. Sent from my LG-VS700 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
