It took 3 of 3 hits Monday morning for me and 3 of 6 hits last Thursday so I think it's still worth using. I can't see going through more than an $8 pack a day though. That would be 6 fish that destroyed the bait. If you do need more than 6 strips id say you had a damn good day and it was $ well spent. Sent from my LG-VS700 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

There should be some good browns out in front of catfish. That creek gets a nice run of the each fall. Sent from my LG-VS700 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Took one last shot at the derby this morning. Ended up with two 25 pound kings and a nice Coho. It was the first Coho for my wife and for my boat. One of the kings was also my friends first Salmon and biggest fish ever. All three came in 60 to 70 fow in front of the Salmon River. Coho was F/F. Kings came on cutbait behind paddles. Finally got my first Salmon into my own boat today. This is my first year with a trolling boat. We had 4 good hook ups. Landed one 22lb and one 24lb. Had one come unglued on a dipsy with F/F. Mountain dew SD with a white fly. Another broke off a Blue Crush SD with a Blue fly. The 22 pounder came on a wonder bread dipsy with a wonder bread J plug. The 24 came on a green dot pro troll with cut bait. Had 2 other hits on the cut bait that didn't hook up. All came in 90 to 110 fow off the Salmon River. Okuma Coldwater vs the Cabela's DepthMaster
Guidewayneo replied to Jäger-Eye's topic in Tackle and Techniques
From what I have seen you would be better off with the cheaper magda pro's then the coldwater's. I have never used the depthmasters so I can't say on them. Sent from my LG-VS700 using Lake Ontario United mobile app -

I have this problem a lot. None of my friends own boats (they might be the smart ones) and have trouble keeping the boat straight. It is frustrating. I just try to get gear set and get back behind the wheel. Its not worth lossing a fishing parnter over bc its even harder to keep the boat straight and set gear alone lol. To all of those who are disagreeing with him. He spent his hard earned $$$ on a smart troll to see where his lures where actually running. Then was nice enough to share the info with us free of charge. You should take the info and be thankful for it. Not publicly doubt him. If you don't believe it keep it to yourself or go spend $500+ to see for yourseld. Thanks again for the info and helping us that can't afford a smart troll. Guidewayneo replied to fathobbit0074's topic in Open Lake Discussion
You should be able to get fish cleaned at juniors in port ontario I believe. As for food the Sandy Pond Steak House is excellent. TC brewsters is also very good that is just a few miles north on Route 3. Rainbow Shores is good food but pricey and normally bad service so I don't reccomend it. If you want to travel a bit farther the Eis House in Mexico is good also. Hope this helps. Sent from my LG-VS700 using Lake Ontario United mobile app -
The 91 will run in it just fine. If you are going to get 87 get a bottle of startron(might have spelled that wrong) and put a little in each time. Sent from my LG-VS700 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I have kept this pretty secret but people have given me some good info on here so here ya go. Pink rapala husky jerks size 12 or 14 are my go to lure for big walleyes. Almost every walleye on my website was caught on them and they are not all from the same body of water. Sent from my LG-VS700 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
