I want to get my son a tree stand for Christmas , he's 5"8" about 165lbs. Looking to get the best bang for the buck. I'm not a hunter, looking for suggestions. Thanks.
A lot of littles ones, usually get bigger ones and average around 42". Good to know the system is doing well. This is the Kawartha chain (Pigeon Lake) near Peterborough , Ontario.
That's awesome Joe !Finally did find some fish on Monday just before we left, picked up 2 in a hour and then had to go home, figures. Learned a lot and looking forward to next year !
Panther martin makes an hydraulic adapter for their systems. Panther martin system comes with a long rthreaded rod you can bend and cut to suit your needs.http://www.boatstoreusa.com/hydraulic-mechanical/connection-kits-cable-adapters/panther-552700-trolling-motor-tie-bar-kit/
Not good, fished hard for 3 days, no walleyes, lots of bass and big pickerel and perch, walleyes are pretty well gone. Some big hens around gorging on baitfish, hard to catch. Charter docked next to us got 3 on Friday, 1 on sunday.
Friend of mine seen a large boat hit going out the channel on Monday. Too risky for me, not going to do it anymore until things are fix properly and for good.
I'm hoping not, last year the water was high, mid 50's, could only find fish deep around BRB. Year before, no luck on walleye when we could get out. 3 years ago, upper 50's and spanked them in Chaumont bay. Timing is every thing, let me know when they start biting pap and I'll try and change my plans to get'em while they're hot
Awesome trip !!! Check out my post on here with pics, "back from Lac Seul" under the walleye forum . Yes Lac seul is huge, great trip and I would go back in a heartbeat, and I may next year.
