Here's the deal.....I use this web site, as I assume most people do, as a community forum for fishing reports, not a self loathing site to brag. I have informed others of more than just where I had fished not of only what I caught. Exactly why most people have bad experiences with asking about fishing tips or advice and feeling discouraged about learning and continuing to pursue a hobby. Never would ask about specifics but general information should be what this web community should be about. Thanks dehond56 for posting your superb fishing skills. Tight lines, Tight mouths

Mud bay has over 5' of slush under 2 1/2' of ice tough fishing unless you have 9" pvc pipe about 7' long to get under the slush

Well about 3-5" of water/slush on top. Horrible walking and snowmobiling. Fishing was slightly better than top ice conditions.

Looking for snow/slush conditions. Hoping it wont be too bad for a snowmobile. Anyone going out today or tmrw. If u could let me know I'd appreciate it

I'm no expert but seems every weekend the barometric pressure has been crazy....of course the time most of us have to spend fishing. Everywhere in has been tough all together. Still better fishing than working!

Start with head only, may have to try body, whole alive. Depends on what they want. Nmbr 5,7 jigging rapalas in chartreuse glow, fire tiger, perch. Also had good luck this year with phoebe spoons 1/8 oz. Or bigger. Don't be afraid to down size on lures if they aren't hitting the bigger ones. Good luck!

Don't feel bad. I've fished honeoye, Braddock bay, irondequiot bay, and Oneida. Only perch I've found is the later. Not to mention jumbo perch!
