What I was saying is tomorrow if need be you can see better and get another shot in him if need be.
Legally of course.
Good luck legacy!!
I'll be checking in for a pic.

I would think with all the shots you heard over the weekend that there is plenty of gut piles to keep the yotes busy.
But it is a gamble either way.

I hit a big 8 with a 270, hit him slightly lower then I thought as he was walking up hill slightly and I couldn't get him to stop so I sent it.
Jumped him 3 times three hrs after the shot and didn't finally get that buck killed and on the ground in my hands till 3 days after the first shot. Just saying.
Where I hunt is coyote infested.
Buck had no front legs to run on and was bulldozing a couple hundred yards at a time.
3 rd day finally seen where he bulldozed over a log pile and a barb wire fence after losing blood for a day. He was a 100 yds from log pile and still needed 2 more shots to end it. Total he went close to 600 yds.
That's why I give them time and don't push them.
I won't talk about the pushing them stories and loses they suck.

If it was me I would not push him I would wait it out till morning.
The big bucks have the will to survive!! If he is down and don't get pushed he'll be there in the morning waiting for you.
When in doubt back out!!
He is hurting and ain't going far let him drain !!!!

I have to wrap this muzzleloader season up before the weeks out.
A couple bays on lake George have ice on them. NOT SAFE ICE.
But maybe in a week with the weather coming it will have some ice to fish. Fingers crossed.

The road riding I was seeing was in Albany county on my way to go look at some equipment at a friends farm.
I Had to have got behind 6 different trucks going 5mph and not watching the road or mirrors. Lmao. The one was real serious and did 5mph for prolly 5 miles till I blew by him.
Where is the robo buck when you need him.
Lol.

I have a old 40's or 50's model 2 row jd with dry fertilizer bins and seed bins and it works great maybe a couple more passes to get it planted! but it's nice and fits down trails to get to the hard to reach spots!! When I got it the bottoms of fertilizer bins were slightly rotted. I fixed them with some auto body mud, and for $450 total have a great planter!! I run round up ready corn threw it with trip 19. And after its sprouted good I use urea and spray the weeds. Also will spray with liquid trip 10 when corn is a few feet tall. 2 or 3 ears on all my stalks.
The hardest part for me is keeping my beef cattle out of it hard headed black angus. Lol

No disrespect to no one !!!
It was all just for good fun!!!
I have been very bored with all my tags filled except for muzzleloader tags.
I agree tho the deer are in the food. I have been trying to put my buddy on a nice oak ridge for two weeks he was persistent about his brush thicket that has no food. I drove by the oak ridge spot yesterday and seen a fresh kill drag in the snow coming off the ridge.
Food food food food is where the deer are and they won't go far from it to bed.
