  1. Thats interesting bottom. Fished Saturday from mexico to oswego. Only picked up two lakers. Stayed in under a 100 fow entire time. One of the rigger hit as I raised it to do a change up. Second off a copper in 80 fow. Both came on black evil eye with silver bolt. Nothing off cowbells or flasher fly. Will have to slide out deeper this weekend.
  2. I have an 85 with an i/o. I'll be tapping that thing all over this weekend.
  3. Is that an offshore 24 mid 80's?
  4. Use them on my riggers and haven't had an issue with them.
  5. Loss of probe and wieght sucks. Nothing like watching 200.00 bucks disappear in the blink of eye.
  6. As effed up an idea like that is in this day age Addict, you are probably right.
  7. I hope you got 2 yr old back? Cant compare kid to a "thing".
  8. Yeah thats a new color that they made limited production on. Bought 6 myself. Maybe I'll sell you a few after I try them out first. I hope the fish bite as well as I did.
  9. Might want to consider 250# power pro. Releases slide down real easy on it.
  10. Im gonna give it a try this year. The last four feet always gets beat up from having the ball thrashing near surface when changing rigs.
  11. Check ebay you can them relatively cheap.
  12. Sounds like pumice to me Rolmops if that is what you are referring to. Added to gel coats on Jersey roof top decks for non slip purposes.
  13. Like lost says. Check out sterndrive engineering. Lot cheaper than merc and comes with a 3 year warranty. Put one on my boat and no problems with it.
  14. Add some pics and I'm sure youll get plenty of ideas and advice.
  15. Great lakes planers has them
  16. I never thought of using them to start campfires. I have a load of them to get rid off but couldnt figure out how to safely. I understand them still be good past expiration date but tell that to coast guard or other marine authority.
  17. Try Amish Outfitters.
  18. Your exactly right Justin. Alot of guys do take the easy way out not wanting to untangle a line every five minutes or having the patience to teach how to cast, etc. My boys and nephew on their first steelhead trip and my second rowing. Not much to show for our efforts but we all had a great day. Our big catch for the day!!!
  19. In my opinion the high rpms of running wot does the most harm to an engine
  20. If you still showing good compression on cyclinders it shouldnt be a problem.
  21. I feel that is why all of us trollers should pick a universal VHS channel that we could use in instances like this to communicate to each what paths each boat should take. Cutting lines and crossing each other is not the answer.
  22. Good example of a well cared for boat. They do last if probably taken care of.
