  1. Still trying to figure out the axe King is trying to grind here on this thread. He is all over the place and attacking someone new. If he is some sort of "biologist", he has some of the most distorted thinking for his profession. My opinion is that he has a degree in the psuedo science of pyschology. He has diverted the topic of this thread so far off course that I hope I dont run my boat in the same waters that he fishes.
  2. Hunting,Fishing, driving, Etc are both a privilege and a right. Yes you can own land and a pond, but from state respect you don't own the game on or in it.
  3. Keep doing what your doing Flyrod. You are to be commended..Just always present both sides unbiasedly and teach to make decisions based on facts and with out emotions involved. Its probably the biggest reason why government has become so disfunctional on all levels.
  4. Good info for those that think there should be an increase in salmon stocking.
  5. yeah that's more a shore thing
  6. That will occur even if its out of the water
  7. Change it. Do like Erabbit says and do you shift cable also. That is probably near its end also.
  8. Pull it. You should be working on it already. Spring has sprung
  9. Why don't you just sprinkle some sand on resin when wet for your non slip areas.
  10. What bout time stated.
  11. Absolutely. Run 2 lowrance units on my boat. One primarily for gps. If sonar is turned on it affects display on the other.
  12. I believe the success you have using crimps is having a good quality set of crimping pliers to compress the crimp and not just flatten it out.
  13. Sport pilot is discontinued. Replaced with the ev-100 or 200 I believe. Have sportpilot on my boat and absolutely love it. Little noisy so turn up the stereo.
  14. Young coho from what I see. Definitely a salmon with black mouth.
  15. I use a spro swivel on both ends of copper which I use crimps on. No problems thru eyes or levelwind. I do keep an eye on them and recrimp if copper starts to show signs of fray.
  16. I would think density of cast iron vs. lead is that it is lighter making it a bigger size compared to the same pound lead weight giving you more blowback.
