  1. News seals are a cheap fix. Still a good deal for someone.
  2. For less than 2g's , one can put an SEI unit on it with 3 year guarantee. Not a bad deal for someone.
  3. I don't use either and I have no problems. Pulling otter boats with half keels with 200# power pro.
  4. Moderators should shut this thread down already because it is so far off topic.
  5. Pap, I didnt see the ocean that nasty with the last hurricane that came up.
  6. Yeah Nautitroller, He is a young guy. Looks like he has good potential though.
  7. I bet in two years he'll be a real bruiser. Rack has nice symmetry and width for a young deer. Hopefully you can keep us updated on this one.
  8. I would give piebald another year to grow.
  9. George, good luck with your quest for that 9. Had an 8 like that chasing a doe in front of my house for about 20 min this morning.
  10. Why do you need a spring on the pulley? Just asking?
  11. Why? At least the boy took out the garbage. Thats hard to get kids to do nowadays.
  12. I wouldnt worry about it. Just about every thread on this forum goes of topic.
  13. Pap at 23 degrees it is a freeze not frost! Keep warm.
  14. I have a pair that I used for one season before I upgraded to electrics. No Line on them, but I may have some replacement spools of line laying around. New they are about 150.00 each. Send me a pm with your phone number and we'll see what works out.
  15. Your right Choo. Nothing like watching a good s### show. Almost as good as the politcal debates.
  16. Off to side of boat ideally as browns are boat shy and you'll be fishing in shallow water. Guys use the big planers boards such as Otter Boats or the smaller inlines such as the walleye boards. Big boards you can run multiple lines off them.
  17. Welcome aboard. You will find a lot of good info here. Browns and lakers are doable at that time of year. Kings usually dont show up in good numbers until mid summer on east end of lake. Thats not to say you wont catch one. Search previous posts for a lot of good ideas that will work for your current set up. Or you can just ask? You'll get lots of fodder to chew on. Tight lines
  18. The overall water clarity of the lake is what I find most troubling. In 10' fow you can look over the side of boat and count the pebbles. Water is lacking plankton which is the base building block for the food chain.
