  1. Thats total BS. Could have been a real trajedy there and something easily averted if someone were more visible
  2. Most newer bilge pumps do not utilize a separate float switch. Backflow valve would probably be best in the situation.
  3. You can buy cannon dual axis rod holders that mount below your riggers giving additional rod holders on each side of rigger and can put them in any position you want. Cost about 250.00 each.
  4. Sylvan, it wouldnt be to difficult to find a shop to bend pipes to mount that on your boat

  6. Same here Chas, but I didnt see anything in regs about other light other than the minimum requirements per vessel type.
  7. Just looked up NY State boating laws with regards to lights. Manually powered boats dont need anything more than a lantern or flash light. So much for common sense.

  9. Not sure about the lights that Jason is talking about but sidelights( bi-color) and stern light definitely when moving.
