  1. Just drill it yourself.. Measure carefully first. Use plenty of 3m 5200 to seal it up.
  2. Removal off old bottom paint via a sand blaster but uses baking soda instead and doesn't destroy the fiberglass. Good to check for stress cracks in hull for other problems like bad stringers.
  3. Do a search on e bay. Thinking about getting them for my Grady and not that expensive.
  4. Rick. Look into investing in a Work Sharp knife sharpener. Puts a pro edge on a knife in no time flat and easy to use. Pick your friends more wisely. LOL.

  6. Well its good that you survived to write a post Gotta respect that Lake.
  7. Can u move the tree up closer to tongue get boat up further
  8. Good thing to do so you can assess you hull before repainting. Look for stress cracks in gel coat where stringers are for any hidden problems. Did that myself two years ago. Just use a good primer prior to bottom paint for good lasting results.
  9. Info Sk8man gave is great. He is a man with plenty of wisdom and tact. That is said with all sincerity. Having the Ms. And child into the fishing bit is great!! Don't rush into your decision based on one trip. Boats are terrific source of enjoyment but also one of the biggest pain in the asses in life depending upon your attitude about them. Think hard about any boat purchase you make!! BOAT = Break out another thousand when something goes wrong usually!! Not my intention to soundnegative but just want to give a general reality before you dive in head first. Depending on your use it may be more practical to charter a few times to see where you actually are in the boating gig. Either way you will get plenty of views and advice from this site. Good luck with your decision.
  10. U getting a new ride for next year or just rerigging entire boat?
  11. Always look at mouth. If it is black inside and gums its a salmon. Looks like you got a steelie.
  12. Thats some interesting bone growing on that one.
  13. 15 bucks you cant go wrong. Me, I would probably lose it in 10 mins after first use.
  14. Great to hear. Maybe we will meet in the spring. Tight lines until then.
  15. KJ it sounds like you had a good trip even though the fish didny cooperate as well as you have liked but you spent good time with family which is usually good. Lol. It has been a tough bite lately.
  16. Sounds like you did just fine for your first time. Search for info here or just ask . Good job.
  17. That is strange because the unit doesnt turn on until probe goes in the water. All you should have is the decimal point on display. I would start be going over the electrical hook up first with particular attn. to grounding. From there move to antenna
  18. Best to run them on the big boards as far off to the side that you can get them.
  19. Ran 16# pancakes last spring for 2 trips and spent more time undoing tangles Switched to torpedos and not a problem since Blowback is minimal also. Currents in Lake O push them all over the place
