I'll buy every sutton I can find for 2 bucks a piece.. Ever see the prices they fetch on ebay will make your head spin. You would be afraid to even put them in water. Im not one to frame them and hang on wall to look at.

I run mine off the rear starboard corner. It will chafe from the ball retriever when it is rough water, so I will have to cut about 4' off occasionally but that's about twice a season.
Use high octane in everything but autos and have been problem free since I started doing that. Small engines were a real problem before that. If they are gonna be idle for sometime drain tanks and run dry. Will save a lot issues.

They are are great looking boats when kept at their peak but also a labor of love needed to keep them that way. Wish you well with your decision.

I don't understand why there is such confusion with this issue? If you have a captains license and charge people to take them fishing you are a "pro". It has nothing to do with wether you cancatch fish or not!!!

I would get the tallest you can based on size of your rig and where you mount it. Put a fold down base for getting under low overheads. Not aware of frquency issues with radios and antennas.

Get yourself a good quality ant. If you can. They do make a big difference.
Nice pics also. Nothing lowly about lakers. Many charters are on them to keep the business running.
Sat. 5/23 headed east out of little salmon picked at the browns. 53 degree stained water. Sticks were what they were eating. 4 browns and afew smallies. Headed out to plant mid day for lakers, got zip. Headed back to shore end of day and picked 5 short steelies and more smallies. Stick bite again.
Sun 5/24. East out of river like previous day picked at browns till 8:30. Stick bite again.
Changed plans and headed out to plant for lakers. Didn't move a rod all day till 5:00 went they turned on and we limited out.
