Both are excellent units and either will serve you well. Just a Ford vs. Chevy decision . LOL. Good luck. I'm a Lowramce user for years and never had a problem with any of their units .

I like the idea of the outriggers to run copper off of. Overall nice job rigging the boat. Good luck fishing it. I'm sure it will work efficiently for you.

Like Kevin says fish when you can You can sit on couch and catch nothing or sit on boat and at least try to make something happen. I prefer the latter.

Thats interesting! Never gave a thought to how they arrive at wave heights. Always found that they were twice as bad as predicted. Good info to keep in long term memory gents.

The problem I have with the inlines is sometimes bringing them in they dive. 10 x. worst than a untripped dipsey other than that the inlines work great

Here in Jersey they banned all fertilizers with phosphorous due to same issue in Barnegat Bay. Commercial applicators also cannot put fertilizer down from Dec - Mar. Bay is already showing improvement due to it.
I run Berts and Cannons on my boat. The cannons are double dual axis monted to downriggers and after 1 year of use they loosening up and some dont spin easily. Have to look them over more closely to see what probls are , but at 250.00 plus for each one I shouldnt be having to do this for their age and use.
