  1. Lol hard to argue with that wisdom Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  2. Hopefully you can get away with just a filter change but just be prepared for the carb rebuild. This ethanol is just a bad b$$$ job. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  3. Doesn't really matter just gotta find a few fish that agree with your opinion . Lol Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  4. Wow!!!! Very emotional topic this has become. As an owner of a small business , I understand the Captains of a charter biz plight. Unfortunately the market is what determines the rates of a charter overall on average. Some Captains can command a higher rate than others because of their reputations they established others will get less for a boat ride they provide. As far as tipping is concerned I always give a tip but it's never based on fish caught. This too is based on my overall emotions of service provided. I've had good days fishing with some captains yet I would never set foot on their boat again nor recommend them to anybody. Their are captains that I would love to fish with again but are no longer in biz. Use common sense and do what you feel is fair. Even though life has no rule book for "fairness" . 5. Definitely change that water separator filter. Also add the ethanol gas stabilizer on fill ups. Might want to consider using premium gas in boat if your not running it regularly. This ethanol does nothing but bad things for engines. At seasons end you should try and get tank empty as possible for winter storage. Also having problems with it in all my lawn equipment as it breaking down fuel lines and primer bulbs Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  6. Keep your control head within reach of wheel. I put mine in a nav pod unit since dash is full Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  7. I'll post pics next time I'm up to big lake Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  11. I would say water side of boat transom the 5200 is good also. As anal as I am where it comes to things like this I would put a bit of silicone atop bolt heads too after everything back together Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  12. That's interesting I don't see why it wouldn't work doing it that way if it doesn't get in way of ignition switch and any wiring hiding behind dash or your steering cables Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  13. They'll get the job done Shelby Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  14. Could be fuel pump not pumping enough at higher rpms Go cheapest rout first and change out fuel filters hopefully problem lies there Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  15. Does your seat adjust back? When that drive motor is installed your wheel will be 2-3" out farther Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  16. I would say you're going to have to manufacture some sort to bracket to secure to drive motor to Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  17. Fiberglass mat not needed for what your doing. Just screw wood together until resin cures. coat entire outside with resin also. If no sunlight hits exposed ares paint not needed, but yeah you can used the expoxy floor paint if you wanted. Where you located? I grew up in the Kingston area.
  18. Cody, contact cement is not water proof best to use epoxy resin to glue together and seal the wood Follow that with paint or ideally a gel coat as UV light will break down the epoxy or urethane over time Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  19. I know you said you had a whine on start up might want to check if a belt tensioning pulley is going bad on you if engine is equipped with one Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  20. Not a bad idea to due a complete tune up change oil and filter and new gas filter while your at it Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  21. Agree totally with Jeremy. You can get them at West Marine for like 40 bucks. If you have to do the bus bar you might as well go with the fuse block Much better than an inline fuse link Less wire connections to go bad Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  22. I wanted to go that route but I have an older Elite 5 that I can't find the cable to hook up names 0183. Also had questions on setting up the backbone. Sounds like you got hardest part nailed down. Good luck. Let's us know how it comes out Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  23. Wow that really sucks. At least it didn't let loose when you were on the water Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  24. It's loud but I'm half deaf. When I was on back of boat playing with rods and stereo going never heard it. Noise it makes is little compared to the freedom you gain from being stuck at the wheel Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
