  1. nope The unit your looking at is better than what I got which is better design for boats with hydraulic steering. In fact mine is discontinued found that out after I bought it or I would have went with the EV 200.
  2. Fished on Lake O out of Mexico. Didn't do a rudder reference only boat. Bought my unit through Hodges also. Just read instructions thoroughly a few times before you start and plan wiring layouts and runs. Took me about 2 hours total to install mine I got the SPX 5 wheel mount. I also had to order a NavPod from hodges to mount the control head in since I had no room in dash for it Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  3. I would that first then I would check condition of boats wiring harness. That would be a real issue to rework that Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  4. Hammer, we did that track Sat afternoon and didn't have a hit running 8 rods ran sticks and spoons. Did see anybody raise a net Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  5. We had ten rods at one point with no tangles. Unit was working back and forth when wind was up but it kept boat straight Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  6. Trolled as slow as 1.8 mph into and with waves for what was out there Sat. Help a track straight as an arrow and was able to work the rods and net fish without a problem. Don't know how we fished before without one Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  7. Used boat first time this weekend with the AP installed. Didn't get through calibration process successfully as instructions didn't match head options. Unit did operate nicely as far as holding a straight course which was nice for setting rods and landing. Will work out bugs with a little more time and calls to Raymarine . Overall I would never troll without one ever again Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  8. Wound using 300 lbs to get about 15 layers of paint off. Had to rent a tow behind compressor to get job done. Fortunately found no surprises which is why I undertook job put a gel coat layer on in dark blue to match rest of boat. Would definitely hire a job like this out in the future if I were to do againbottom did come out great though. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  10. No luck on browns Sat. Trolled from little salmon west to nine mile and never saw a net rise . Son caught a 2-3 # smallmouth . Group of boats in front of plant so we switch gears out in deeper water to get son realing some fish and changed program to lakers. Got 1 on 300' copper with purple and black evil eye. One hard hit on copper bent spoon but no hook up. Remaining two came on riggers with cowbells and pink spin glows, son felt lucky with them and he was right. Finished day back in hunt for browns from little salmon on up to salmon results same as morning. On water from 8- 6:30. Had great day with my son and brother and boat ran great with all new upgrades done over winter. Can't get back up soon enough. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  11. I don't understand why so many adults don't read the rules of this and any other event before signing up? Yet they make a stink afterwards to get rules changed to suit them and cry unfair. Life is not fair and their is no rule book on what fair and not in life. If someone knows of one let me know so I can pick up a copy. Just a note I don't fish any tournaments. 12. He's an honest fella. Ordered a 10 rod launcher on line from him and paid 790 with shipping. Arrived with in 2 weeks and I was happy with everything.. 2 weeks later recieved a check from him for saying i was overcharged $ 74.. I never knew but I do respect his honesty. Products are of exceptional quality also.
