    Awesome day on the lake. Went 9 for 14 on kings. All fish came on spoons with leadcores taking most of the hits. The kings were angry with screaming drags and jumping fish.     Did you look to see if there is a software update for it? I don't know anything about your unit but I know when I installed my HDS unit nothing would work correctly till I did the most recent software update

    The first year I started fishing for salmon with divers I would put the rods in rod holders on my cannon downriggers. The worked well until a salmon hit and tore the holder off the rigger and I watched my dipsy setup quickly dive towards the bottom of lake ontario. I now have Big Jon heavy duty ratcheting rod holders and love them. The price of a set of a dual rod holders is cheaper than the cost of a wire dipsy set up.
