  1. Well guys the warm front seems to be diminishing, little warmer than I'd like this am but still decent for deer movement. Normal temps coming so this next little while should be dynamite.

  6. I've got one on one of my properties too. Pink eyes/claws. Sticks out like a sore thumb.
  7. Well. It is very unfortunate for this to be happening, seems as jf there are more and more of these horrible economical and natural "disasters" taking place...I don't know what else to say. On a positive note it is nice to see that some people are putting effort forth to try and put a stop to this. Thanks for sharing.
  8. Ya looks like he busted his G3 on his left side....is he a 7point George?
  9. Ya looks like he busted his G3 on his left side....is he a 7point George?
  10. Last weekend shot an 8 pointer at 15yrds pulling 65lbs, maxima 350's, the rage went in and stopped on the opposite side rib.
  11. Well the deer sure weren't moving so I'm glad to hear of someone killing something. Friggen moon was bright on the way out tonight. Not good for daytime movement.

  13. Another one right behind it too. Nice!
  14. Nice shot Steele!
  15. Sorry I wouldn't have known that as I'm from Canada. We are allowed to bait here so I never thought anything of it.
  16. Whose being a hater? I don't see any negative replies...?
  17. The young one will be just as big as the first one come maturity. Very nice deer, nice genes running through those deers blood. Go get em
  18. Kings are still around. Most are up tight to the dam now tho. Heard the walleye has been good on the lower lately.
  19. Had a young 6 galloping after 3 does this am. Drooling like a little sissy. We had frost this am in Canada
  20. Now Ive stayed out of these threads for the most part and not saying I know much about stocking #'s and procedures and really don't have an opinion on whose to take the fault for the poor fishing the last 2 years but to me it seems as if the extreme weather we experienced the last 2 winters has a lot to do with this issue. Yes, they are stocking fewer fish, I fish the west end (dalhousie to the river) and there are good #'s this year. Fishing was sub par on the lake but I firmly believe it's these extreme cold winters. It's changing the life cycles/habits of the king salmon. 2012-2013 were stellar years and those winters were some of our warmest in the last decade, in 2012 I was catching Kings at the end of March it was so warm, I iced fish lake simcoe once on 10" of ice in the middle of February...not normal... So that's sort of my view on it, I could be way off and I do understand that stocking does play a major role, but I'm not packing it in just yet, we'll see what 2016 brings.
  21. Why is that?
  22. Thanks. I always figured the heavier the broadhead the harder it hit....but now it seems your front of centre and kinetic energy has to do with weight/balance from nock to broadhead. You learn something every day.
  23. I've been wondering the same thing through the whole thread.
  24. Lol make that 2 quartering to me at 41 yrds he ducked it and I shaved his a$$ with a ramcat....little pr!ck
