I think any natural reproduction is negligible. Try to raise some money amongst the anglers and buy fish to stock. Otisco is so small it can't handle pressure like Oneida anyways be glad it doesn't get the attention

There are definitely tigers from Otisco in there, they spill over from the dam and go down 9 mile. Tons of tigers in the creek. I saw 6 tigers over 30" in one hole earlier this year and one was in the mid 40s (caught a 36 for reference). Nine mile connects to Onondaga so that is one place they come in from.

I feel like there would be a lot of resistance from locals. I feel like the sentiment amongst the ice fisherman is that they are not in favor of continuing to increase the size limit.

I haven't fished there for them but know of some big ones that have been caught. You can google some old ones from Syracuse.com.

I know they have been discussing potential for a new launch for awhile. Anyone see this most recent story ?

I like the idea of doing it at the park the best of all I have heard

Hello -
Got a wedding in Ithaca this weekend unfortunately and will be near the Myers Park area. Just wondering if there were any suggestions for me to take a couple casts somewhere? Salmon creek looks like a potential opportunity?
I know a lot of the info found by some light googling often overstates fishing in certain areas. Any suggestion would be appreciated thank you!

We certainly need more decoys. I don't recall ever seeing any blue bills there last year, we only have about a dozen buffle heads. Will have to diversify a little. Appreciate the feedback

Lookin for some info on spreads from any finger lakes duck hunters. Just started last year and it was a blast, we got a few. We just put out mallards and some buffleheads off to the side.
Just looking on some input if anyone willing to share of what might be some other species to consider mixing in? We hunt at skaneateles.
Thanks in advance

Lineman that's a good follow up question I can't remember how it was handled I haven't been in so long. Does the tip go to the mate or to captain to give to mate?
Prob directly to mate right?

Hoping to get some feedback on charter etiquette. Got into a discussion w a friend about how much to tip a charter. The charters I have been on we never knew what to do so tipped like at a restaurant like 20% of the cost of the trip. My friend is planning a charter and thought this was absurd because charters are expensive. Just looking for some feedback on what is expected/ what is the norm? Any feedback is appreciated thanks so much.
