Went out at 6am went to 175fow to start and worked out to 300 west wind not even 1 footers. Had 3 hook ups within an hour all different rods. 1 on the dipsey, one 300' of copper, one off the rigger. The downrigger a pro troll white crushed with a pro troll bait head 65 down using leadcore. the dipsey i set at 175 on 0 with a dolphin spin doctor and mag dolphin DW. The copper a green and red triangular attractor with a orange and yellow mag with bone pattern. Best luck in 200-300fow, went 3-6 pics soon

Thank you I will look them over it have checked them previously to see if there was an issue but didn't see any visible damage. Also left the other other one off. I hate to say it but if it came to replacing them I'd just buy a fish hawk and use them the way they are. Sent from my SM-G935P using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I currently use a a lowrance 5x-DSI which i know is a bit older but fish finder come out as fast as cell phones. orginally i never thought I was going to be mainly fishing lake o and deeper lake erie. The problem im having is the fish finders no longer pick up bait balls or nearly anything. On top of that it will give crazy depths after awhile actually they both do not always at the same time. If anyone has any advice on this issue and if anyone has anyone has any advice on settings. I have watched videos and read aboit changing settings around. I atleast use to track my downriggers and those dont even occasionally show. Sent from my SM-G935P using Lake Ontario United mobile app

thank you for your replies sorry had a bit of trouble with the new phone and login in. I have actually struck out at cabelas and slippery sinker. right not using plastic scottys for now. went out Saturday of olcott at around 8 am set out the lines letting out my starboard dipsey got smacked by a coho about 80 ft of line out over 250 on a mountain dew spin doctor with DW glow frog. then copper had a brief hook up but lost. then heading in letting down same spon doctor with a Michigan stinger blue dolphin spoon got hit about 70ft out over 170. ended up with a little coho for dinner could find the kings trolled 180-300 fow.
