Selling for a buddy of mine that’s moving.. 2001 smoker craft stealth 15ft, motors a 40hp stroke Yamaha (1989),boat is in good condition runs fine has 2 cannon electric mini mags bow mount foot petal trolling motor colored hummingbird fish finder, interior lights safety equipment and some trolling gear.. he bought a heavy duty trailer for it, he’s asking $3,000 would be a great perch/bass boat if interested shoot me a message and I’ll give you his number
  4. Happen to me last year, biggest deer I would’ve ever shot came in 15 yards .. shot in the shoulder arrow when in 4 inches.. went to the local bow shop (heritage outdoor sports) and told them I want a set up that can blow threw a deers shoulder bone at close range.. they said no promises but they recommend a smaller fixed broad head and Easton FMJ 400.. not saying it will go threw bone but it had clean pass threw on 2 deer last year and I feel confident in them.. (broad head from last year)
  5. Funny pic first time checking the trail cam
  6. Selling my 23 hp mud motor, runs great, it’s electric start, the guys I bring hunting in the marsh are always amazed how the motor performs threw mud/cattails, I have the throttle and auto stop unhooked but still have them and a extra prop.. motor has probably at most 10hrs on it bought it 2 years ago just over $1300. asking $950
  7. That’s enough money to cover the tackle and rods idk if you’ll have enough for a boat.. 😂 Jk
  8. Congrats on your trophy!
  9. X2 I started last year.. Walton’s online store has high temp cheeses and a ton of pre made flavor packets
  10. Should look into some leadcores then you could run one down the middle .. looks like a 10 color will do the trick.. just gotta battle the weeds
  11. Do these guys lock their gear up after? With all the attention they bring you would think the could Hire someone to watch these boats for 4-6 hours a night.. I feel for the guys that lost gear but 8 boats? That’s crazy
  12. Lake Ontario’s way easier to drag bottom on.. the finger lakes are glacier lakes so you can be in 100ft one second and be in 30ft the next.. having 2 people on board is key or bounce in spots that are gradual in the finger lakes
  13. I was thinking of running bigger lures
  14. I run charters on Seneca
  15. Those are the rigger balls.. might be a school of lakers but this is a wreck off glass factory on the same setting.. you can see where my rigger ball bounce off lol
  16. Had a hugee return on sonar down in the deep water, I switched my graph to lowrance “fish locator” in down scan and came up as a soft return anyone have any ideas? I usually have hard returns on trees
  17. Yupp side imagine works awesome for schooling fish like perch or crappie.. under 60ft.. I bought it and rarely run it.. down imagine great for finding structure for bass fishing.. other then that chirp and traditional sonar are the best for trolling
  18. Looking for the Bankes single man layout boat.. said their sold out for the year.. let me know if someone’s got one they want to sell!
  19. It crazy how lake trout get a bad reputation.. I’ve always enjoyed them
  20. Had a great morning.. 10 lakers and a rainbow.. left the dock about 530am this morning put 4 colors of leadcore out with the electric muffin color reelrage mag on took the big rainbow.. rest we’re Sutton and gambler rigs 120-130ft 60-80ft down took a bunch of lakers.. only a few off bottom.. rainbow was 28 inches just a hair under 8lbs
  21. Had trip today Guy wanted to go for silvers so we took the long haul from Roy’s to Long point and trolled south, 200-130fow trolled 20-60ft down with spoons, caught 6 dink salmon and 7 lakers.. got into the lakers about halfway down toward long point and showboat caught a short fat laker stuffed with 3 big saw bellies, no browns but steady action, a handful of lakers around 6-7lbs cooler temps closer to the surface down there compared to north end
  22. I just ran 3 riggers, I went out by myself to “clean the boat”.. 100ft leads off the riggers and doing 2.2-2.4 seem to be the best action... Yupp the rainbows like it close to the boat, I got a decent size one last year 5 feet out and 5 feet down on the downrigger.. he flew outta the water 5 feet away from the boat before he popped the release!
  23. Left Roys trolled up to belhurst then across to the pump station and back
  24. Had some action on Seneca last night, tried out a handful of reel rage spoons ,630-8pm had 4 salmon on landed 3 , 2 rainbow one decent size probably 3lbs and 2 smaller lakers 80ft down mostly 110-130fow 30-40 down. surface was 71 degrees.. purple alewife took most, Green UV NBK took the 2 lakers down 80ft.. the smaller reelrage spoons seems to be the ticket their smaller and lighter then stingers with paint that holds up way better 2.2-2.4 mph
