    Did one a few years ago and had a bad experience.. went out on a big boat went 5 miles off shore and got a small shark.. waste of money, if I were to do it again I would back water fish on a smaller boat for sea trout and snook.. tarpon fishing is good around that area

    Pulled the down riggers out from storage and wanted to try for big lakers on the big lake, started fishing at 8 and fished till 11 then headed back in. Got 5 nothing under 10lbs using gambler rigs all magnum size. Trolled the 5/0 blades in laker trout killers and green blades. Got my PB laker 37 inches and weighed in just Under 19lbs Fished 60-110 ft of water

    A buddy of mine makes them out of aluminum he said he will sell a pair for $150.. I don’t think their for tracks they might be a permanent mount.. but I’ll get more info

    Trolled last night for a couple hours 5-7pm, went 4-6 started off trolling for browns, picked up a laker off 5 color leadcore.. kicked the motor down and put suttons on the weighted rods had a lot more action, all fish were 2-5lbs range.. no silvers but will be out this week looking for some.. started in 6ft then made my way out to 40-60ft and found the laker bite out there

    I bought some last summer they had a ton of spoons they started making them from a machine instead of hand pressing them.. the spoon plating I got last year seem to be better then the spoons from years past if not you can always get them replated for like $2 a spoon

    Awesome boat if I recall sport fish has the biggest beam for deep v aluminum boats. How wide is the beam on this one?

    Next thing you know duck hunting everywhere in NY will be like hunting in Ithaca.. imaginary lines of where you can’t hunt on open water..

    interstate cranking battery is what I use.. little more pricier then other big retail stores like Walmart or auto stores but I feel like they’re worth the money

    Don’t consider a big john reel their junk.. i used mine 3 times and the reel cracked.. best luck I had is cannon but I’m sure Cisco’s would be better

    garmin makes a great autopilot for the kicker, throttle control and steering right from a remote.. if I had to upgrade thats what I would get.. I have the Lowrance, its good to keep the boat straight we setting rods that's about it

    Anyone ever use fake teak/wood flooring? im gonna redo my 18ft lund but would like to know what the best floor to use is, been looking at infinity woven vinyl... its going in a fishing boat so its gotta be stain resistant.. Anyone use or have any reviews on theirs?
