Does anyone have a picture of the derby board from Stivers the final board? My brother got a 9.22 laker that put him in third place men’s on Monday 1130am they put his name on the board but didn’t update it online

Congrats on the derby! We chased silvers first morning cause that’s what was biting best all week didn’t get any with size. Then the laker hunt started and we pulled in some good numbers and great looking lakers. Reel rages “pimp juice” took most lakers in the shallower water and a electric muffin Goldilocks and chicken wing took some silvers the first day. Gamble Rig on bottom took our biggest at 9.22 the last day. Fun derby can’t wait for next year!

Fished Monday and got a 29.5 rainbow! Ended up with some nice lakers and 2 rainbows and missed 3 silvers early.. Second picture is a big group of 9ppl Captain Nick and I split between the two boats I believe we had almost 30 bites!

What if I get a bunch of hunters signatures for late January season and present it to the task force? Would that change the dates?

It’s crazy.. unfortunately the old timers I hunt with might never see a good diver hunt anymore… Even a couple weekends in January or just something!

Can you propose a duck season that runs to at least the second week of January when the mass majority of ducks show up? Seems like everyone I talk to says the same exact thing

Crossed it off my bucket list caught a peacock bass in cutler bay last week. Fished for them in urban areas like roadway drain systems and canals. On X Hunt helped out a ton mapping areas to look for (structure and drainage). The peacocks are like small mouths on crack very aggressive fish. Then ended the trip with 5 days in islamorada and got some African pompano sail fish and tunas
