Many boats anchored out of sturgeon this afternoon. Not sure how they did. We did 2 big ones but pulled the anchor to keep the kiddos from rocking around to hard and drifted for a while. Never really saw a "big" school on the graph. My little one doubled on white bass on her perch rig. Everyone hates those things but they do put smiles on the little ones faces. Probably give it another go Friday.

Anyone been doing anyhow on rainbows and lakers?
Would like to take a run at the next week. Was thinking to head out of sp toward the cat but maybe heading north toward 18mile would be better? Any Intel is appreciated and as always will be sure to post my results.

Went out yesterday out of SP headed toward the cat. Fished 70-78fow from about 530p to 1030p. Took one eater, and a 4-5lber. Eater came on black and purple harness 100 back off downrigger on the bottom. Other was on 5 core, black and silver rapala. Took a perch on a harness as well and many took our worms. Not the most action but it was a beautiful night out there.

Fished out of sturgeon this morning. Lots of whites, a decent perch and one keeper. Lost another at the boat. Ran out near the line to 70fow plenty of marks on the bottom. Just couldn't get em to go. Ran sticks of lead core 4-5colors with snap weights, down riggers with spoons. Should have added some worm harnesses.

Was out today swimming with the kids. Lots and lots of people out there. Was perfect. Keeps and eye on the finder and went through some great marks for about a half mile in 58 fow off of Mickey rats. Wasn't fishing buts sure looked like suspended eyes feeding. Hoping to make it out to fish one day this week. Planning to run out DEEP. Anyone find the thermocline?

Last year I was in a similar situation as you. I had purchased a new to me boat and was looking to get out of my previous boat. I should not have sold it. I should have sat on it until the spring or taken everything off of it prior to sale. Fight the urge and if you can't get what it's worth sit on it. You'll regret it if you give it away.
